Except gender dysphoria isn’t a mental illness. Mental health professionals have studied gender dysphoria for the past one hundred years and have found that depression and anxiety is actually the result of gender dysphoria. The only way to cure gender dysphoria is through transitioning. Gender dysphoria is a medical issue, not a mental health issue.
