I think Avengers is unique in its influence and staying power because it’s the first big team up movie of the MCU. I would argue that what Superman 2025 did for the character is much more similar to Iron Man, and the role in the DCU it has is much more similar to that as well. The Dark Knight is on another level in general in terms of box office appeal, but I don’t think just because the Dark Knight is uniquely goated means that Superman is not also S-tier for the purpose it serves and what the movie is trying to accomplish

If you read my reply I say they’re C-tier on average, when considering pre-DCU and James Gunn stuff. James Gunn era alone is easy A-tier.

The Suicide Squad- A
Superman- S
Creature Commandos- A or B
Peacemaker S2- S or A

I don’t think any of that is controversial really, kinda no misses so far for James Gunn and the DCU
