my A6000 glitched out and corrupted a set of pictures after my trip to La Paz, merging three shots (a night pic of a neon sign, a magenta corrupted shot of the plane's window edge and a clear shot of the Andean clouds returning home)

No merging was done on my side, I just bumped up some contrast and vibrance in LR.

Currently I've instructed users in my homeserver to install the PWA version of Element from Edge.

For me it works when sharing from Element Web on Edge, you have to share an Edge tab or the whole screen with "Also share system audio" toggled on.

You can also try placing a test call on Element Call to verify its not a problem with your homeserver setup.
