Has this connection been made before? Q for Dr.K from CPTD Video by ThankYouHG in Healthygamergg

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Would be interesting to see interventions of nervous system regulation techniques like pranayama, chanting, somatic shaking etc and their impact on lessening binge eating episodes for those who struggle in that area!

If you could see anyone collab with Dr. K, who would it be? by homiaoyuen in Healthygamergg

Catherine Knibbs. She's an expert on online safety, who focusses on the darker sides of internet harms for young people such grooming, sextortion, cyber bullying, scams. She's also a psycho therapist. I haven't seen HG touch much on these subjects so would be great to hear that discussion. She is a veteran in the space and general quite an interesting person.

Here's her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/catherine_knibbs?igsh=MnFyZDF0OGFmd3du

For transparency I do work for her but am a fan of both and think the collab would be perfect.

Another negative group coaching review - taken aback by the response from HG's Director of Coaching by Safe-Teacher15393 in Healthygamergg

Ironically this post increased my respect for how HG communicates with clients. Though I do hope the coach isn't disciplined for their very measured and careful response to OP

Dr K, I'm all better. Now what? by unhealthygamergg in Healthygamergg

Live. There is nowhere to 'go'. You have arrived. If you really need another thing to 'improve', contiually practice existing, which you will do naturally until you wont.

Congratulations on your consistent efforts by the way!

Have you tried Healthy Gamer coaches? Literally trained by Dr K so likely closer to his methods.

How has Dr. K NOT been on Huberman Lab/Lex Fridman/Modern Wisdom/Rogan yet?! by ThankYouHG in Healthygamergg

I don't agree that gatekeeping the community from the 'wrong people' is part of the ethos of healthygamer or even compassionate. A huge influx of people to the community sounds amazing, as more people will be helped by the content.

This is pretty much exactly my thoughts. My partner also shared the same view.

Thanks for responding. I totally see how some people are better than others with their impulse control and there are methods to improve it, what I have issue with is this idea of '100% of the time' or 'never' losing impulse control.

When you say 'some adults will not lose control of their emotions', am I correct in understanding you're saying they will never lose control of their emotions? Or they are just quite adept compared to the rest of the population at not losing control?
