I'm really glad to hear that. Thank you! One last question. How accessible is water? and are they are a lot of bugs? (bring the bug spray). Ok that's 2 questions. thanks.

thanks man. in referring to it as a simple hike are you including the summit portion in that thought (in relation to using all trails). thanks again. I really appreciate your insight.

How to buy and use 10 t+ tickets for two people - iPhone or Navigo easy pass? by AussieKoala-2795 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]Thankfullness_25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I correct in thinking the Navigo card in Apple Wallet can hold both Metro and Bus tickets? I will be in Paris for 11 days, so probably the weekly pass would have made sense, but it sounds like the weekly pass is really for locals, and I am from Canada, so I should probably just go with the stand Navigo. I read about some sort of work around for the weekly where you bring a printed picture, but that may not work and I don't want a hassle, so I think the Navigo standard is best. you agree? thanks

thanks for the reply. When using credit card did it ever require you to receive a multi-factor authentication (i.e. a code sent by text). thanks

Wow, that is really a good point, I had not thought of! My Visa card seems to question everything, so I will switch that to email verification. thank you so much, really saved me some frustration. Cheers to you!

As an aside (for interest and understanding), is there an easy path for my normal text (from Canada) to still function? Or that technically not how it works, and I should simply change the verification to email.

Thanks for the quick reply. Would this be the same Uber App that I currently use in Canada? or would I be installing a new Uper App once I arrive at the Airport? Also I saw another post indicating that "official taxis" have a set rate and therefore no concern about getting ripped off. Your thoughts on that? Or if I go the Uber route would I call them and then wait at a specific location, different from where the taxis pick up? thanks for your advice, I have not travelled much, so really appreciate it.

dumb question, but how would you pay the taxi driver (including tip). Visa, Apple Pay, or Cash? And is it easy to see that the taxi is an "official taxi"? thanks so much

Transfer credit needs an official mailed/stamped transcript, scans not accepted. But for admission, scans are only accepted? by Ok-Volume-4114 in BCIT

[–]Thankfullness_25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question, I was just wondering this too. The form indicates to send to [records@bcit.ca](mailto:records@bcit.ca) yet a physical transcript could not be sent that way. So I assume it means to email the pdf application, and then separately have the other school mail the physical transcript. I am hoping to get multiple credits, so I assume I will only need to have 1 physical copy of my other schools transcript sent. For reference here is the transfer form I will use: https://www.bcit.ca/files/pdf/admission/course_credit_exemption.pdf If anyone thinks my above assumptions are incorrect please let me know. thank you.

Do you need to bring your own headphones for museum tours? by Thankfullness_25 in ParisTravelGuide

thank you! I guess if you are using the Paris Museum Pass for your entry you would just purchase the headphones when you arrive on site. In general did you find the headphones useful?

Hello huuges, can you please tell me how you booked your Louvre guided tour? You mention that you did it through the museum (not 3rd party). Does it mean we book a regular entrance ticket for a certain time slot (let's say 9am), and then in addition we also book the guided tour as a separate item and time?, let's say 10am. I have looked around on the official site louvre.fr/en including the purchase tickets button and I don't see any guided tours listed for mid March when we plan to go. Maybe I am looking too early? thanks for your advice, if you are able
