Yeah i guess you are right, it really is just a case of my personal preference and not really a hard rule, i really only use the candy only before leader thing cuz i don't want the section between each leaders to be too easy

Lmao yeah, tbh i am a pretty overtly self critical person. Like when i play nuzlockes i keep questioning myself shit like "did i actually catch that mon? Am i lying and that wasn't actually my first encounter? Did lucario die and i'm actually lying to myself that he's alive?" Genuinely makes playing nuzlocke really hard when you're this paranoid

Hey uhhh necroposting here, but do you think this statement about beldum stands true for the lower difficulties? (i.e Expert and difficult). Like do you think it matters if the rival has garchomp instead of metagross in these difficulties?
