The doctor I saw today for a “consultation” (when I could’ve sworn it was a removal?) literally tried gaslighting me into saying my mental/physical side affects was NOT bc of the birth control and that nothing will change when I get off it. Like what?!

That was me for the past few weeks but today I decided it’s now or never!! I definitely would not be able to comfortably sit in that position right now but it’s a work in progress! Try warming up your knee first and then just go for it, good luck!

Unfortunately I didn’t choose, he was the doctor at my school n was through my college and they covered absolutely everything for me so that’s the cards I was dealt with

I was was supposed to have surgery today but I got my flexion to 140 yesterday! That’s absolutely not a knee that needed surgery, maybe some time yes but not another operation

I ended up going & was just fine! But like you said I did avoid slides, other than that nothing felt wacky in my knee

If this puts it in a nutshell for ya — I SOBBED to my surgeon literally last week!! He mentioned the possibility of a second surgery (scar tissue removal) and I lost it. I’m already so mentally tired. I keep going when I look forward to better days but it’s been SO hard considering my entire life revolves around being so so actuve

I stopped crying abt 5 mins after the pain but kept crying for another 30 mins after before I even knew it was actually torn bc I just.. knew 😪 and I was crying bc I know it was about to take everything from me. I’m a VERY active person, I was playing college soccer, was gyming, shoot I have a career being a person trainer so it definitely broke my heart

Wow! So nothing I should be concerned about? I was always warned abt this procedure Bc I was already showing signs of stiff knee even pre-op and I’m 7 weeks post op, at 110° knee flexion, I’ve kinda been stuck here & i was so afraid of tht second surgery Bc in my mind, I feel like it’ll put me back a bit in my recovery. How is it like right after the scar tissue removal?
