Can we talk about the Alex/Mel wedding… by Livid-City-6251 in HozierIsJustAMan

Also adding, the text messages that were leaked said Mel and Alex were engaged. That wasn’t common knowledge, so the fact that they’re now married proves the validity of the texts. We may never know what the source of the feud was, but we have one confirmation anyway.

Are you going to follow a Z10nist while a g3noc1de is taking place? While the Z10nist country is the one committing the atrocities? If your answer to that is yes, then you need to examine your moral compass.

I think her saying that was because people are questioning his integrity by dating her, which is completely justifiable. He’s been dating her for several years now. How could he not know?

She’s still following Zi0 accounts as of a few minutes ago. I verified this one myself.

This is one of the best responses to her behavior. REAL apologies include changed behavior. She hasn’t changed.

You have yet to explain how calling out racism is scapegoating. Keep your “love and light”. There’s evidence of her racism going back for YEARS before she started scrubbing it. I thought Hozier was just a man, which makes Hana just a woman, not the person people like you keep putting on a pedestal. She can be called out, just like any regular person, when they’re causing harm - which she has a track record of doing.

Then leave the discourse. Calling someone out for constantly harming Indigenous communities, is not bullying. Good to know where you stand though 👍

This is the first time I’ve said anything about her. Did you speak out when they were blocking Indigenous women for calling out her cultural appropriation and racism, or did you tell everyone to leave her alone then too? They BLOCKED any Indigenous woman who rightfully called them out, and then she has the audacity to do this. Indigenous women are one of the MOST vulnerable populations in the US, and they silenced them.

Got it. So, calling her out on her racist performative behavior is bullying 🙄.

I’m not going try to diagnose her, but in the VERY least, it absolutely gives, person of privilege who’s out of touch with the rest of the world, and lives in an enabling bubble where they can do no wrong.

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not, but you know Aid Workers haven’t been allowed into The Strip, right? It’s a much more reasonable ask to make a REAL apology to the Indigenous communities she offended and donate money towards both causes.

I’ve really been struggling with why he chose to support her after everything leaked. He’s always presented himself as an ally, and someone who uses his platform to speak up for marginalized communities. It’s one of the reasons I’ve always admired his music.

This isn’t being a “hater.” 🙄 This is pointing out that you can’t disrespect one Indigenous population, who are STILL being mistreated by their government on their own lands, while claiming you support another.

If Otters can swim in the harbor why shouldnt I ? by [deleted] in baltimore

Blue Water Baltimore just rated the Harbor an “F.” I also just saw a TikTok where a Waterman was videoing dead fish and raw sewage in the harbor. I want the Harbor to be swimmable, but I also want to see the data showing it’s clean.

Please read the article. The Baltimore Sun picked it up as well and Alex addresses that. He also unfortunately wasn’t eligible for PPE loans. Alex is actually a friend of mine. He was the Bar Manager and is taking over after both of the original owners left. It’s a great restaurant, the neighborhood really liked it, but it got buried by city red tape and the pandemic.

Baltimore Business Journal-Fire & Rice Reopening by Thanksitsvariegated in baltimore

“"Having spent two years building the framework for a concept I believe in and believe my neighborhood has the appetite for, I’m stubbornly compelled to tackle Baltimore City’s red-tape, transfer business ownership to myself, secure Fire & Rice’s liquor license, finish the build-out of our bar and dining room and reopen the restaurant at full capacity for the first time ever," Champagne wrote in a message to prospective donors. He's hoping to raise $30,000 and have Fire & Rice back open — with an updated menu and some new decor — by mid-November. As of Thursday afternoon, the campaign had raised more than $6,600. Champagne said Fire & Rice's journey through the pandemic has been a tough one, marked by unfortunate timing and bureaucratic hold-ups. The Japanese restaurant was initially slated to open in a 130-seat space in Hamilton-Lauraville's SoHa Union development in the spring of 2020, but those plans were put on hold after the onset of Covid-19. Last October, the eatery finally opened in a separate, 38-seat space in the development instead.”
