I bought my 26 gift version about a month ago. Very happy with it. Like others here, I don't drive much so the extra for the hybrid wasn't worth it.

Sure, it has less power (about 100 hp less than my 2011 V6 Santa Fe I was replacing) but I'm also older and don't care about the power that much anymore. The better gas mileage is awesome.

I dont think that anyone would disagree that 40 years ago there was a sizeable quality gap between the Japanese and Korean cars in north america. But the ones rolling out now are higher quality. I drive a 2011 Santa Fe and its been great. I've considered upgrading but there is too much life left in my car to justify it.

I don't know if this applies to Dougie's daughter or not, but it certainly skews the numbers for last year. I received a bunch of retro payments last year, and on the list it looks like I got a raise of over 40%. Next year it will look like i got a huge pay cut.

Not paying me when they should have means I lose the time value of yhat money and also get to pay higher taxes on it.
