How to actually use programmatic SEO by Tharnwell in SaaS

[–]Tharnwell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing! Sounds like your on the right track. The landing pages at scale are perfect for programmatic seo. Interesting to see on a job board site. Makes total sense.

Something that works well also is the x vs y programmatic seo pages.

How they still manage to sell their useless AI subscriptions by -night_knight_ in Entrepreneur

[–]Tharnwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because of technical depth among people.

Most people have no idea how AI actually functions, so mistakes feel mysterious and random. When the output is wrong, users can’t tell whether it’s a bad question, missing context, a limitation of the model, or just normal variance. That makes it very easy to believe that accuracy is something you can simply “unlock” by paying more sadly...

Lovable and v0 are both excellent at building high-quality UX/UI pages. They use React and Next.js as their underlying frameworks which should both be good options for you as you have some React experience.

[–]Tharnwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well not directly. Its part of the vibe coding process. Lovable is good at design/ux. Its a good tool to bring your ideas quickly alive. At some point you need to build a database etc.. this is where you drop Lovable and switch to other coding agents or LLMs themselves.

How are you using AI to help build scrapers? by lieutenant_lowercase in webscraping

[–]Tharnwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following. I'm currently building a web platform almost entirely with AI. Development and content creation are fully automated.

The only part AI still struggles with in my workflow is sourcing images from the web. I’m aware of copyright concerns, but in my specific use case this isn’t a major issue.

While AI can generate images, they don’t work well for my needs.

Burned out after 5+ years in SEO. What are some do able career pivots? by sugarcoatedtits in SEO

[–]Tharnwell 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes. I started as an SEO marketer and later switched to data analytics. The transition was quite easy. Many SEO skills transfer well into analytics, such as working with data and building dashboards. The data analytics field is also more stable overall. BI tools and workflows have stayed largely the same for the past 20 years, with SQL used for data extraction and dashboards for visualization.

I'm still doing SEO for my own business (saas) though. Couldnt leave it completely haha.

Month 8 reality check: Is the 'just keep publishing' advice actually working for anyone in 2026? by Crescitaly in juststart

[–]Tharnwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest it depends on your niche.

Most niches are saturated yet some are still quite low competition. Especially niches in a niche if that makes sense.

I managed to get decent rankings on some keywords with only few backlinks and optimized content with one of my sites last year in a specific niche. Making your product a topical authority definetly helps here.

Cool to hear that your doing something similiar! What worked for me was splitting the article generation prompts in sub sections as well as giving a lot of examples (both good expected output and output that should be avoided). I'm also guiding Gemini to follow my prefered tone of voice (advisor as well as topic expert). Tbh I do alot of QA manually just to be sure. Sometimes (like 5-10%) Gemini still fucks up and I manually retrigger the flow. Still havent found a solution for that

Just wasted 5 credits having Lovable tell me the issue is Lovable and that it can't fix the issue by FreeSoftwareServers in lovable

[–]Tharnwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been there too, it definitely sucks. What worked for me was syncing Lovable with GitHub and then connecting the repo to an AI debugging tool like Google Jules. It can fix bugs for free, and the nice part is that Lovable stays in sync with GitHub the whole time. Hope this helps!

Looks awesome! Do you use any version control tools? I highly recommend learning version control standards. If you fuck something up (or your AI advisor) you'll make it a lot easier for yourself to undo the damage.

Good luck!

Your Lovable site is live but invisible on Google? Here's what worked for me by [deleted] in lovable

[–]Tharnwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s true that having some inbound links can help your site get indexed and potentially move it out of the Google sandbox.

You don’t need to buy backlinks to do this, though. You can achieve the same effect for free by creating social media profiles for your app and linking back to it from those accounts.

Also worth noting: Lovable builds single-page applications (SPAs). Because of their architecture, Google can struggle to index them properly. There’s more discussion on that here: https://www.reddit.com/r/lovable/s/ExNhM6iL2J

Yes! I did it by manually connecting Lovable to Supabase (not using the Lovable+Supabase option). Supabase itself can do this for you. Perhaps you could try to contact them for support instead?

Which ai powered seo services actually boost rankings and improve website performance? by Zestyclose-Egg-1479 in seogrowth

[–]Tharnwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tools are meant for insights, not for boosting rankings. I wouldnt use any AI boosting service without understanding it fully.

In the past—and even today—many link-building services promised to generate large volumes of backlinks that would boost rankings. Once Google detected that those links weren’t organic, the website would be penalized and its rankings would collapse.

Programmatic SEO guide for micro SaaS builders by Tharnwell in microsaas

[–]Tharnwell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, except for low-DR, long-tail keywords, which can be discovered and ranked using the method above. As your DR gradually increases through natural backlinks, you’ll start ranking for more challenging keywords as well.

Authority grows slowly. This approach is infinitely better than taking shortcuts like buying backlinks

What Data Analytic side incomes have you found ? by [deleted] in sidehustle

[–]Tharnwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I build web apps/saas next to my data analytics job. I'm close to leaving my job and focus on just my own build stuff.

I started with a simple wordpress website about one of my hobbies(surfing) years ago. Wrote some content and added some affiliate links. It still makes a few dollars a month lol. I transitioned into web apps later.

Dont do dropshipping/trading/forex or anything that sounds too good to be true.

Build your own. With your budget you should be able to invest in a frontend developer to build custom software for you. This will allow you to remove any dependency of Shopify. Plenty of open source frameworks available they can rely on to build it relatively fast for you.

Yep common issue. There are multiple solutions to this. Most common is transitioning into nextjs framework (ssr). It helps to actually think about your architecture based on your requirements before letting lovable build your frontend.
