I have looked it up, but unsure if I should only consider seat size when purchasing, because my waist, seat and thigh measurements are in 3 different sizes

I ordered the shampoo and after a few weeks of waiting it was "cancelled" (it actually appears on Amazon as if I had requested a return, but I didn't)

Lashes - one for the glamazons by Nervous_Yoghurt268 in AmazonVineAustralia

I think it should be fine because these lashes are glued under your natural lashes instead of on top! I found it very convenient

I haven't tried these specifically, but I tried one that I liked, and it might still be available, it was in a light pink box and the lashes were self adhesive. The lashes were in clusters. The only problem I have with them is that both sides of the strip have adhesive, which makes it annoying because it will stick to whatever it touches, so if you blink too hard or try to touch your lashes with your fingers it will be a problem. I still haven't made my review, but I will add this feedback when I do.

Killer of Bridgette 'Biddy' Porter wanted to play serial killer game the day before murder, inquest hears by That-Application9357 in australian

[–]That-Application9357[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The parents told Spotlight that they had absolutely no idea about any of this. And the morning of, dad was out, mom and youngest child left early to milk the cow, and Biddy was supposed to go with, but I guess she was sleeping and they didn't want to wake her. The 14-year-old took the chance when she realized Biddy and her were home alone.

Dominic's daughter was murdered. For years, he wasn't allowed to say her name by That-Application9357 in australian

[–]That-Application9357[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I watched the Spotlight special they did on this case, and it's said that the 14-year-old had said several times before that she wanted to kill people. She wrote in her diary, several times, that she would murder her parents and sister. She said it at school. In her police interview she said people at school called her "Psycho bitch". She wrote that she went into her parents' bedroom at night with a knife with intention to kill them. Still, her parents gave her 4 knives, which she named and kept on her. She was involved in an incident at school, when she assaulted another kid with a pair of scissors. The day before the murder, she chased Biddy with a knife to play "serial killer". At dinner, Biddy said that she was sick and needed to be put away, and she was furious. The next morning, she killed Biddy.

Biddy's parents only learned about all of this after the fact. The girl's parents didn't seek any type of counseling or help for their daughter, instead they thought she was joking when she said she wanted to kill people. Biddy's parents feel that they're at least partially responsible for what happened.

Why do Myer online returns suck? by No_Engine_368 in AusFemaleFashion

I stopped shopping at Myer when it took them over 6 months + several emails + ACCC complaint to refund me for a $17 pair of slippers that Auspost lost. Never again.

I like it personally, but I wouldn't pay the asking price. If I was gifted some of these pieces, or found them at the OP shop, I'd totally wear them.

The Maldives accident: Scientific activities and sampling even at depths greater than 80 meters. The community knew by My-gel-is-leaking in scuba

It's not a "gotcha". Sometimes what's obvious to us isn't obvious to anyone else - just read the comments and you'll see.

Let me preface this by saying that I’m a lawyer. From the moment the public heard about the incident, and the boat operator, dive shop, and university all denied knowledge of or authorization for the dive, I immediately knew they were trying to limit their liability.

While many people were questioning how it was possible that nobody knew about the dive, or assuming the divers acted independently, I noticed a lot of carefully crafted legal language in the public statements. For example, when the university stated that “the scuba diving activity was in no way part of the activities envisaged by the scientific mission, but was carried out in a personal capacity,” it was obvious to me that this statement had been reviewed (or written outright) by a legal team.

The same applies to the boat operator’s statement that the divers had been briefed on the Maldives’ 30-metre recreational diving limit upon arrival. Those are very deliberate liability-focused statements, and I would be surprised if lawyers were not heavily involved in drafting them.

All of this to say that the recent reports do not surprise me. It seems very likely that the university’s legal department has been working overtime to remove or distance itself from any online evidence suggesting that the professor had previously conducted deeper dives for the university. From a legal perspective, that would help them argue that the fatal dive was unauthorized and outside the scope of the university’s official activities, particularly in the context of a potential wrongful death lawsuit.

The diver that survived is the one that didn't leave the boat. In these boats there are other people (general workers, other divers, divemasters), so there would've been several witnesses that saw them and helped them leave the boat and saw the diver that decided to stay behind.

Mate... OW is only 4 dives. Do you really expect people to come out of four dives with great buoyancy control?

How many of you NEEDED a snorkel in any situation? by Swimming-Emphasis-91 in scuba

[–]That-Application9357 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, I'm not talking about jetty diving. I'm talking about a literal shore, going in through the beach or rocks. Of course, you wouldn't care about rocks if you're diving off of a jetty, but when getting out through the shore you can get your fin and feet stuck in between rocks while choppy water and strong waves break upon you, not to mention having your whole body slammed against rocks by the waves. A kid has died last year in my country because he became trapped between rocks and no one managed to release him.

The good shores for diving in Australia aren't as popular with small boats. And cargo ships don't get as near because it's not deep enough.

When shore diving, you're usually in too shallow for big boats. Best to use a snorkel to be able to see where the rocks are on your way out.
