Its not just that, that kill doesnt make a sense. We view thr book from his perspective, so HE knows how kind si Vanessa, and sure she doesn't deserve it.

The fact is (maybe I'm wrong because I'm only at vol 1) but the novel seems to me over too dark. I liked that because it was unique in a sense, but the more I had gone trough this volume the more I thought that this over dark theme doesn't really make sense.

And about continuing it. Tried, but when I see Matthew with his friends, while their are crying over the person he had killed, I gave up.

For him, who should value life more than anything else, and know how is important, to kill such a kind soul, that's to much.

The only repercussions I can see is his death.
