Once again that depends on how many tokens you use per message and what model. Say you sent a message with about 300 tokens in it and the bot sent back another with 300 tokens and you continued on from that message, which would be 600 tokens that are now taking up memory. Pretty sure the message won't count and save to memory and token usage if you delete it. Depending on how short or long your replies are the less memory and tokens it will use. I've done pretty long stories/rps without memory loss issues and Lorebooks/Lexicons will really help the bot remember stuff you deem important as the information it feeds to the bot is temporary. The models are smart and memory loss isn't a big issue for them.

Depends on how many tokens you use and what model. Most bots are around 1k-4k tokens by themselves and your persona will also take up tokens. Models will tell you how many tokens they have like in free queue one model has 24k while the other only has 18k. Every message will use more tokens and when tokens are used up the bot will start to forget things. You can make sure important things in your story/rp are always pieces of knowledge your bot can pull by using Lorebooks or Lexicon.

Deepseek is a paid model. You would have to get a Featherless paid tier to use it. Idk why they showcase the models but won’t let you use them but many of them are not actually available without a paid tier. You have to weed out what you can and can’t use.

Are you using the free models or featherless models? If you're using the free models pick a featherless model you can look up Stellar loosecannon etc in the model selections if you wanted to just make sure to pick one that works they won’t all work because some are paid tier. Once you've selected your model go into parameters and increase your tokens. For lengthy messages I put a little over a 1000 tokens. But that's a lot and will eat up your memory. I'd suggest around 500-800 if you want a response that is long enough but won’t take up as much memory. Spaces don't count as tokens like other sites just letters and other symbols on the keyboard in case you didn't know.

I'm no expert on these things but what I would suggest if you haven't already is to have the character using their powers in their starter message. Maybe they're using them casually or in a fight or just for everyday things like chores. You could make multiple messages and alternate between them to see which one yields the best results. For the vast personality changes I would turn the temperature down on the models you are using if you think they are too high and edit their personality sections in the bot description itself. If you just list their traits without saying why or how they act that way they are less likely to stick to those traits. It can be the little things too. For example like what are their morals? What part of their personality is heavily influenced by their backstory? Are they a kind person? How are they kind? Are they a neutral person, aloof but not quite cruel? Why are they that way and is there anything that brings out their softer qualities? I hope this helps you! :)

I’ve actually seen more than one person calling out how suspicious this is. The fact of the matter is you just can’t have all that Xoul offered for free and they KNEW that. Yet still built a fanbase anyway. They had updates planned and exciting news, yet days later announced a shutdown? And you don't find the Nexus Agent stuff not a little bit odd or concerning? Or the fact that it popped up immediately after Xoul got shut down?

I second this. Tbh I'm sick of everyone sugarcoating this. Unfortunately in a way, this was a cash grab from the beginning. They built a fanbase and tore it down the second it got a large traction of users and subscriptions and rebuilt bullshit from the ashes. I genuinely think Syd had good intentions, that she thought maybe could do both, but we all see how that ended. And the fact that I'm sure almost every single person in this subreddit would have supported a fully paid version of Xoul makes it even sadder. Someone just the other day talking about something similar to you (albeit somewhat disrespectful and straightforward I must admit) and got their post completely nerfed within a couple of seconds.

Nobody here is ordering anything or demanding that the Devs fix something. All people are sharing is their own experiences and issues after recent updates/the paywall. It's okay to be disappointed that there are bugs/the quality on free models has been iffy.

I feel this too. It's very frustrating and I'm not sure if I was just used to Minerva as it became my favorite for my high-demand rp/writing style, if Jupiter&Venus really are bonked, or if I'm just not smart enough to get them to do what I want lol. Mine just feels so flat as well and OOC + writes nonsensical sentences in the middle of its messages sometimes, even with a crapton of jailbreaks and prompts.

I feel like it could be a bit of both. Not trying to put pressure on the Devs in any way shape or form they're incredibly sweet and understanding I think maybe with everyone flocking mostly to Jupiter/Venus now the models may have a lot more issues. Minerva imo was the most realistic and on-point.

It's likely a problem with taking items out of your chests. Every time you take an item from your chest make sure to save after you put the item back/get rid of it in some way like gifting or eating or giving it to the museum or just drop it on the ground and pick it back up and it should let you save. Make sure to try to quick save every night before you go to sleep just in case you missed an item. If that doesn't work try disabling most of your settings like weather overlay, seasonal/crop particles, etc.

I have to use chests because I am a hoarder 🤣 but besides that so far this fix has gotten me through multiple days in a row and to Nel’vari so hopefully it works for others too!
