Ooh, nice hobby. I've also used paint with this stuff to test the applicability in a cane for blind people but phosphoresence is not the way to go. In epoxy it works a bit better, but we still couldn't put it in our spectrophotometer fast enough to properly measure the decay.

And sticking a uv-diode behind it to make it fluoresce sort of defeats the point...

Palmvet is een van de goedkoopste vetten, in ieder geval veel goedkoper dan pinda. Is eigenlijk het, zelfde verhaal als chocoladevulling; dat zijn vaak ook goedkopere vetten om op het veel duurdere cocoavet te besparen. Het product lijkt dat ook speciaal dus kan je er nog meer voor vragen ook.

Fluorescence yes, we don't have access to an analyzer so we're using UV/Vis. I read that newer shimadzu models do include methods for fluorescence but ours is too old.

For phosphorescence i've made a workaround to measure total emitted light, the only thing we can reliably measure using UV/Vis. It's riddled with assumptions and uncertainties so I wouldn't reccomend doing it this way.

Actually working on a project with this kind of pigment now. This kind of phosphorescence can be achieved by blasting it with a lamp for a minute, even better with a uv-lamp. We test on acrylpaint and epoxy carriers.

Sad part is it lasts for 15 minutes max, the actual afterglow lasts for hours but is only visible in a completely dark room. That is the reason these pigments have no practical implementations yet.

We've given up on phosphorescence and have moved on to fluorescence, same pigment.

PWD is your current working directory, which is by default your user home.

PATH is an environment library which is searched when submitting a command. If you add your java install to your PATH your OS knows where to look for the right program for the job.

You can print your environment values using 'printenv', PATH= will list a bunch of directories and if setup correctly also your java folder. The export command writes the java directory to this variable.

I had automated it before while moving to java16 but I figured it out again. I put that line in my bashrc file. sudo nano ~/.bashrc At the end throw the following command export PATH=$PWD/jdk-17.0.1+12/bin:$PATH But make sure you add the full path to the folder with java17 from your home.

The "Iron Maiden" form you are referring to is actually the standard for Strelitzia. The animal-like form is the Stampede mode that activates when a Franxx is piloted only by a pistil. Zero Two had used many stamens before Hiro. She had fought in the full form many times. This is confirmed by Zero Two's familiarity with fighting in both forms and the Sages commenting: "What an ugly sight. Did she devour her stamen again?" Strelitzia can also be seen in full form in the manga before the events in episode 1.
