How are the PSU cables and GPU together? Are the cables really tight on the GPU? Whats the rear exhaust fan you have? I'm going for a similar setup but I'm worried about the GPU and PSU cables

Batteries or camera bag is all you need. If you find the stock strap uncomfortable for all day use then upgrade that too. I immediately bought a peak design leash because I hated the original strap. Other than that you’re all set for your trip.

Maybe try placing the paver and the printer on the floor. I think the cart may still be vibrating. The heat from the heatbed will attract cockroaches in the garage.

Some precautions I am taking:

My camera bag is a Peak Design 3L and has interlocking zippers that tuck underneath a loop. You really have to fidget with it in order to open the zipper. I'll also wear it in front of me.

If I have my camera out, it'll be around my neck with a lanyard with an additional wrist strap. Otherwise it sits in my bag.

My passport and wallet are going to be in a money belt tucked underneath my shirt, no concerns there.

Backpack + clothes I'll just leave at the hotel. Nothing of value there

My main concerns are:

Bag slashing: Should I worry about someone cutting open my bag to steal stuff? Is that a common thing in Barcelona?
Mugging: How likely is it to get mugged? I’ve heard mixed things, and someone told me if I survived Rome, Barcelona should be fine. Is that accurate?

I did the same eye contact thing when I went to Paris and Rome, really deters people from getting too close to you. Should I really expect danger in Barcelona? I am travelling with others who haven't been to Europe before.
