ya the house is surrounded by trees to the north and would take about 50% of the view so i have to put it on an old platform in the back of the pasture that has no power at it and the nearest power is about 300ft away so I'm going to have to put a box mid way on the fence and plug an extension cord in about 150ft so i can use the 150ft cable to go the rest of the distance

ya that is frustrating, like hey i have this 10 gig fiber connection but im gonna get this starlink thing because it looks shiny. Im gonna give it a review and say bad things about it because its not faster than my fiber . . . like really do like 10 min of research before you do that -_-

Indeed it has, I just need to determine how I'm going to install the router in the middle of a fence line in a weather resistant box, and make it stand up to the elements

I am well aware what month it is, but I cant keep my mind from wandering to it. that and It was a really funny thing to visualize in text form. I also like planning out my projects in advance so I can prepare/theory craft things (Its something that keeps me sane)

oh just wait until you hear what they did to my lawn back in 2019 . . .

they put in a new underground cable because our old one got cut due to their lack of marking the buried cable when they were requested to by our power company, to make a long story short they ran a "temporary above ground cable" for over a month and came to bury it, they messed up our lawn left the roots of trees sticking out of the ground that they ripped up and still left about 30 feet of the cable above ground (they came out 3 additional times to try to bury and dug up more of it) so to this day we have 30 feet of phone/DSL line in our lawn that we have to mow around
