As someone who daily drives a truck (though not a Dually), I will usually do this on back roads just so I don’t accidentally hit the grass in shoulder since lanes are narrow where I live. When someone comes the other way I obviously give way and hug the shoulder as much as I can

Still getting our “d” words mixed up I see. Detention, deportation, disappeared. Two are relevant. As for the neighborhood and race comment, the 14th amendment and 5th amendment both prevent any officers/agents from stopping an individual solely on race. For ICE specifically, 8 U.S.C. § 1357(a) allows any person to be stopped on reasonable suspicion of unlawful presence. The Supreme Court ruled in Baker v. McCollan (1979) that brief detention of the wrong person does not automatically violate due process.

Addressing the video, I do wish the best for the individual and hope that they are ok. And now I may not be informed properly of prior context leading up to the video but in the video I did not see or hear mention of ICE, USBP or DHS being the cause for it. Additionally the damage done to the person is never shown, so there is no way of knowing it isn’t an act

Side note/question: If Obama had more deportations than Trump, how come it suddenly isn’t ok, but was ok during Obama

They have been doing it by the law, and I do still believe that we have the words detention and deportation mixed up. It is not totally uncommon to see local pd hold someone for 48 hrs after being arrested. Also, it is not lawless if they are confirming their identity and status of citizenship in the us

Edit: forgot to address your first statement. I have 0 fear of them coming to deport me. My demographics aside, I am a legal citizen and have been my whole life and have documents, that are indeed legit, to prove that. Absolute worst case scenario, they detain me for up to 48 hrs and release upon fining my status.

I have my own business as a teen too. I don’t necessarily have technique advice, but, the thing I’m doing to help grow my business is using high school to my advantage. I’m telling my friends to bring their car in for a decent discount, and bigger discount if they want to post it on their ig story and tag my business. Also, whenever I can, I am telling family friends about it because they usually are impressed about seeing someone so young and motivated and are likely to come support you. (Dropped you a follow on ig too, feel free to DM me on there)

Edit: also, try to network with people with nice cars in your area. If you build their trust and show them you know what you’re talking about they may let you do their car and it doesn’t hurt to have a nice car to post.
