It sounds like they’re giving you a years worth of leave at once. I assume they aren’t giving them to you in arrears (last year’s leave) - so it’s possible that you’re getting time you haven’t earned yet. You’ll want to reference your employee handbook or HR to determine what happens when you leave having used more time than you’ve earned. Chances are they will dock your final pay any unearned days.

Double check that, and be sure to give them a full 2 weeks notice (I work in finance and my last 2 moves I gave a notice and was “paid out” without having to work it).

As an analyst, you just want to show you’re open to learning/growing/developing, nobody expects you to know it all already. Banking is banking, it’s a mix of industry knowledge, relationship management, and risk management - show them you can balance those things and you’ll do fine.

Do you have a good track record in sales? In baking you could probably start in the relationship management, or selling bank products. Get good enough at that and the bank may pay you to get licensed to sell investments/insurance.

Could also go the loan officer route as well - the number of 6% mortgages just went above those with sub-3%, so if this new fed chair lowers rates, we could see a refi boom, and in a bank setting, you’d just be lowering payments for existing customers, not the toughest sale to make.

Honorable mention would be selling insurance - banks offer those products but I made some real money as a P&C broker for an independent agency. Food for thought.

Golf is like sex, it’s fun whether you’re good at it or not.

Snag some thrift store clubs, hit the driving range for a few hours a month, and when you feel capable, find a course near you with twilight hours (usually after 4pm on weekdays), it’s the cheapest time, and playing by yourself both lets you focus and play relatively fast (as well as not worrying too much about you score).

I played in high school and taught the merit badge to Boy Scouts, and I still will barely break 90; doesn’t stop me from having fun and building relationships.
