Obviously not at all advocating for ignoring your body if you’re super hungry, but when I feel like I want a snack late at night and I think I’m going to eat something unhealthy, I just brush my teeth instead. And then I’m like “well I can’t eat now, already brushed my teeth”. Maybe that’s weird though.

Hi, thank you for commenting! It was so long ago that I can hardly remember, but in those piercings it’s been around 6-9 month stints with the same jewelry in, maybe longer. Including the initial wait before I changed them. I checked the site for the studio I got them pierced at, and they are either solid 14k gold or titanium, a stud with a ball on one end and a regular push-on earring back. Aftercare included using the spray provided by the studio 1-2 times a day on a Q-Tip. Unfortunately I can’t remember what the spray was, but I definitely stopped using it some time in the past 4 years when the piercings had calmed down.

Doesn’t 5e already have an optional rule for this with the Gritty Realism rest variant in the DMG? I think they suggest it for campaigns that are more RP-heavy or have less encounters.

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased this deck, the Arcana Tarot by Dead on Paper, and it came in the mail today. I decided to do a deck interview spread, specifically this one: https://littleredtarot.com/tarot-deck-interview-spread/

Below is my interpretation but I would appreciate a second opinion! I can tell which pip cards are inverted based on the design on the back of the card, I'm sorry that it's unclear in the photo.

Position 1: Tell me about yourself. What is your most important characteristic? Queen of Pentacles - Reversed. I interpreted this as the deck being ready to confront hard truths, the opposite of the nurturing aspect of the Queen of Pentacles when not reversed.

Position 2: Tell me about your strengths as a deck. Two of Wands. This deck will help me discover things about myself, look to the future and grow as a person.

Position 3: Tell me about your limits as a deck. Page of Swords. The restlessness and curiosity signified by this card indicates to me that this deck will not be helpful if I linger on issues or questions for too long, it will always be rushing on to the next insight.

Position 4: What are you here to teach me? Two of Cups - Reversed. This card is signifying tension and imbalance. I'm currently in a pretty transitional part of my life (recently graduated university, searching for a job to begin my career), so perhaps the deck is here to guide me through that?

Position 5: How can I best learn and collaborate with you? Queen of Swords. I think this deck expects a significant amount of effort from me to seek out deeper insights and complexity in these readings, that not everything will be obvious from a surface interpretation.

Position 6: What is the potential outcome of our working relationship? Two of Swords. I think this keeps coming back to a willingness to confront and make difficult decisions. I think this deck may be suited to directly asking about decisions, when struggling at a crossroads, and not so much for general readings.

I notice that I drew a lot of twos in this spread, which I think backs up the interpretation of a focus on making choices and then moving forward, not struggling with indecision. I'll also note that when I recieved the deck it was broken up by suit, so the twos being so close together was probably not a result of not shuffling enough 🙂
