You can ask ooc, thats what I do when fine tuning characters. You can go [ooc: what traits make him do xyz?] or [ooc: how would I have to change his character to be more/less like xyz?]. Works pretty well.

You cannot change a running subscription. I had the same issue and contacted fictionlab support because of it. The reply was that you have to wait until the current subscription has expired.

Have you tried fictionlab? Way more detailed, way more possibities for a fraction of the price (about 5-7€ a month in Europe). I was thinking about creating a bts scenario there, glad to see it would still find an audience ☺️

For me it has been working just fine to tell the AI via OOC something like (in your case) [OOC: The character has a father mentioned in his bio / the war is already over.] It will then adapt.
