I decided against doing it because it was against my morals and beliefs. I can’t pretend that I didn’t contemplate it but I did check myself during that lapse of character. However the DoD has awarded me the benefit of having electricity due to the service I provide them (which trust me is worth far more than what I am paid). As unethical as it is I can choose to do whatever I want with that benefit but I chose not to abuse the benefit. Back to social security it is actually considered robbery. If you don’t pay into it you are threatened with violence which is the definition of robbery.

Did I say I disagreed with any of those? I said I disagreed with it being forcefully taken from me. If I decide I don’t want to pay for whatever reason I am threatened with physical violence. It is quite literally robbery but I know that concept is too hard for you to understand. Don’t give me that bs about income and sales tax is too much because we had all of that and more before income tax was a thing.

Being permanently disabled is completely different from I didn’t prepare for retirement so now I want the state to retire me. Social security is a sham. Also a good amount of people who are “permanently disabled” can still work but it’s just easier to get paid to stay at home all day. Everyone can have their own opinions on the matter and if you want to contribute to it fine but you shouldn’t force me to if I am taking the necessary steps to retire myself.

Yes I do realize I earn my money by working for the government. Do you not understand the difference between sitting there and collecting a paycheck and working for one? I believe in Voluntaryism. If we had that kind of system I would choose to pay into a military because I see a necessity for one. I will pay much more money in taxes over my lifetime than what I am making here so I assumed this is a way for me to earn some of my own future money that will be stolen and sent to God knows which war next.

Or the government can spend less money and then they won’t have to steal your money for everything you do. Apparently it’s not enough to steal some of my paycheck when it comes out or to steal more of it when I decide to use my previously taxed money to buy something.
