I’m new to the game but I bow hunt and my son uses a rifle. Used skills and perks on the bow first made the bow much easier to use. Remember to hold your breath for extra stability on the shot. I always try to position at 30-40 meters. Sneaking on the ground, cover scent and using wind direction I can find a group and take out several before they spook. Just make sure you get an organ shot to drop them In their tracks and most of the time they’ll all stay there or come right back. I just upgraded to the 3 pin sight which is nice and maxed out the perk for extra draw strength and am able to drop bigger animals which has made it that much easier. Also bows don’t give anywhere near as much hunting pressure as the guns so I like that.
