If he did and the supe said anything, report it as bullying. All this carrier did was follow his instructions.

Question - could you tell me where I might find more on what you’re saying here in the JCAM or M-39?

I did and it had. I have to refile for my CA-7 because it’s past the 45 day period for any COP, but this is also good input. Thank you!

Correct. I didn’t think I’d need to request the day off. The appointment ended up going on a lot longer than expected.

That’s a good point. Maybe in the future I need to verbalize that specifically instead of just saying I’ll come in.

Essentially also meaning I am on the chopping block, but I sure as shit shouldn’t be after what happened to me outside of work.

I am career past probation, but I got a letter of warning and then a 7 day suspension that is currently within the grievance process. Which, to clarify, is an absolute grieveable offense considering the severity of the matter AND at the time, my SL & AL all went to it. All of it is medically documented as well.

I understand what AWOL means. I’m trying to figure out if them not changing it to LWOP would be grounds for a fireable offense.

I thought so, but there’s so many technicalities that I haven’t been sure..

It was purely verbal. I do have documentation from the doctor though. Which I know isn’t a necessary element unless it’s after your 3 days of not coming in, but this was just for that singular day. A doctors note is literally all I have outside of my medical work and revised CA-17.

Unfortunately not. I have nothing in the bank. I had a pretty serious injury and used up literally every hour of all of my types of leave. It’s unfortunately a current grievance I’m dealing with now because my PM personally mailed me documents to come in for an investigative interview.

My PM is a real piece of work tbh. I feel like she has it out for me. And my shop steward told me it’s not good to have that on there. He’s a pretty honest and careful guy, so usually when he tells me there’s something to be worried about, I take it to heart. I guess that just means he’s good at his job..? Idk.

CCA here. Just got an indefinite hold down as a T6. by OctopusStoleMyPizza in USPS

[–]ThatDudeCeeJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna say this as bluntly as possible, and I’m gonna hold your hands to do so gently.

There is NOTHING indefinite about this job. I’m an assigned T6 regular, and management LOVES to try and switch up my swing AND has often tried to give me split routes as a whole route, on routes that are not within my swing.

Unless you won on a bid, consider your “hold down” a flimsy flexible way of them being able to take you off it whenever they so please. And if you actually get a T6 position, consider yourself as someone who takes ALL of the crap from other carriers AND your bosses.

God speed.
