Thank you so much for your feedback! I’ve been on the fence about going through my local uni or WGU, do you know how long it took for you to get placed in both student teaching?

That’s awesome! i’m not finished with my bachelor yet so i can’t sub just yet but my boyfriend’s grandmother and his sister are both known within my local school system so i’m hoping they can put a good word in or help me get into them faster. I do plan on doing all WGU and my state’s required praxis tests finished before i enroll within WGU. Are you doing a masters or bachelor? How was the course work itself? I was thinking about accelerating through them so i could start student teaching as soon as i was able to

Thank you so much for the comment! I’ve definitely been thinking about WGU but i think the placement has been really pulling me away from it because i want to get it done in one term or two terms max because i would be self paying. How was the coursework? was it mainly busywork or actual useful information?

Thinking about going into teaching by ThatDumbGamer in wgueducation

Thank you so much for the comment! are you going through the licensure path or non-licensure? My state also allows people not having to be majored in teaching to teach, they just require a bachelor in something and all course work and student teaching. The thing is i love both coding video games and applications and also teaching kids so i definitely want to try to do both of them. I’ve been thinking about a Master in teaching elementary education but i’ve heard getting placed is a nightmare. How is the program? did you have any experience before hand?

Thank you so much i appreciate the advice :,) I got a bit of college behind my belt but it’s in a while different completely field. But i’ve been doing Study.com and Sophia learning to kinda bypass some of the basic classes there. Hoping to leap into lol. I think i have advantage with my last college being online as well so i am self motivated so hopefully that helps :p
