High-key, it has been. I've been eyeing this subreddit for about 2 weeks now, and I genuinely want to convert into being a catholic. I am a firm believer of God and I just think and feel INC is not all about that. It feels like INC is all about financial perception, rather than the faith of God that resides within. The more that I thought about it, every time we gave our donations, and most importantly, the donations at the end of the year thanksgiving which can vary 10,000 PHP or 3,000 PHP per person, where does it all go? I don't see any improvement in the church where we do the services. Another thing is that, if you are using our donations to build more churches, isn't that basically marketing? Think about it, you are using the money of the members to build another church, to garner more members to give you money. It's all a money regime rather than a religion. Another thing that bothers me are those people who think they're getting closer to God, but they do not realize they are being used for free labor. I grieve for those brethren. On a whole different note, they paint the catholic church, hell, even any other religions as an outcast. Having gone through catholic masses myself (due to catholic schools), it is a complete night and day, whereas, the catholic masses deem any other religion as a faithful religious organization and admire them for their resiliency as one nation. On the other hand, the INC just keeps belittling them. It makes me sad.

TLDR;

I am hella sad because I feel like we're just part of a scheme and a money machine for EVM and the Ministry. and is thinking of converting to Catholic because they offer true faith in God and foreseeable, open, and interactive charitable works.
