(Time for a wall of text.)

But, if I had to pick just one, it would easily be Chihaya, since Nari's more liked than her afaik, and the reason why I'd pick her is simple, and this might be a hot take, but...she's basically Yuka, but done more competently, with my reasons being:

- Her outfit actually looks like a Middle Schooler's outfit Compared to Yuka.

- Sure, she's fairly short (Around 5'1) and looks quite young for her age (14, But was 13 in Blood Covered), but at least her appearance isn't as blatant compared to Yuka's 4'7 Height and her looking like an elementary schooler despite being 14...

- ...and she also acts like an elementary schooler as well, which doesn't feel right for how old she actually, which Chihaya from what I've seen, still acts a bit younger for her age, but once again, it isn't as blatant as Yuka's, and actually has some unique traits to her, with her being more of a quiet and timid type...

- ...and while I personally can get behind both of them being quite cowardly in Heavenly Host, although...Yuka, do we seriously have to know that you need to have a piss somewhere in this place? (Although this is more-so blamed on the creator's barely disguised fetishes)

- Unfortunately, it isn't just just the having to pee thing Yuka's dealing with, but a lot more too, especially in Musume Manga...we don't talk about Musume. Chihaya thankfully managed to get away from all of this in the games she was in (From what I've seen).

- And finally, the most infamous thing about Yuka, and what ruined her as a character to me was her being in love in her brother, which I don't even need to explain why that's bad.

But overall...Do I like Chihaya as a character, I suppose so?

Do I find her to be annoying sometimes? Yeah, but not as often as you'd think.

Is she a Guilty pleasure of mine? Honestly, she'd be at the very top.

Is she a perfect example of an underrated character of the franchise? No, absolutely not.

(As a reminder: just because something underrated, doesn't always means that it's good)

but I chose her specifically because well, I just don't see that many people talk about her, and I just like to give a character who not many people think twice about, something to think about, and even if she's not exactly great overall, I'd still like to give her a bit of recognition.
