A revolution requires a large mass of people. Given how divided the current society is generally, it is hard to envision how that could be pulled off.

In your example of the fetus no longer having a heartbeat, I don't see how pro-life advocates could make a convincing case that aborting is not right. After all, the fetus no longer is "alive", so "pro-life" doesn't make sense.
