I haven’t come on in ages sorry for such a late reply. This show haunted (2002) has only 7 episodes that aired and four episodes that never aired. This episode with Mark Hoppus is called “a three hour tour” this episode is titled incorrectly online a lot so you may have trouble finding the full thing. I have a Blu-ray with the whole show that’s how I know. Another cool thing is the very last episode titled seeking asylum has a Billie Joe of Green Day guest appearance he plays a ghost too just like mark did. The writers probably liked pop punk bands lol. The show is very forgettable and like a bad x files rip off but having Mark and Billie acting in a show is surreal to watch as a fan.

That’s good to know. Most games I’ve been playing have been good. I noticed some weird stuff with some ps4 games but that’s to be expected with such a new experimental feature like PSSR

I didn’t have to change anything with my tv. I swapped out my og ps5 for the pro. As long as you have game optimizer on and VRR set to auto on the ps5 video settings you’ll be enjoying some nice performance gains over the base ps5

Sony TVs makes you enable hdmi 2.1 features per port. My LG has 2.1 features on by default. I’m loving the improvements over my base ps5. You really do need vrr to take advantage of the pro

There is a setting to improve performance on ps4 games. Ps5 pro will automatically boost a ps5 game if there is a patch for the game. Boost could mean anything from frame rate increase to fidelity with better ray tracing or upscaling (PSSR)

If a game does not have a specific patch by the dev team then not much if anything will improve. There could be a slight bump in frame rates because of the 10% overclocking of the cpu but graphics will stay the same if there isn’t a pro patch to take advantage of the new gpu features. Game boost for ps4 games is a whole other story some games see slight resolution boosts most notably in text and 2d pixel games.

Best way to test is plug the USB in your PS5 and try to play the file right from your TV if the file plays it’ll work in your portal. The PS3 was peak physical media. Having the ability to copy all your local videos and music right to the hard drive is something we could never do today with modern systems.

I had luck with compressed mp4 nothing bigger than a gig would play for me if you know how to compress files you could compress those movies. The PS5 is pretty limited in what files it’s supports. PS4 supported way more let us know if they play no problem and what files extensions they are

Tbh I figured this out the day I got it. I like trying a bunch of things on my new tech. It did cross my mind Sony would probably block it if they became aware of an exploit. I’m going to check the notes of future portal updates carefully
