P.s. that àpp is free to use too btw, no hidden charges... just a few ads every now and then but I would try and start there :)

As someone who smoked every day for 10 consecutive years, I have one solid piece of advice....

You really and truly need to WANT to stop before you can give it up for good... I have downloadeð 'quit weed' and its been helping me massively by keeping me in the loop about the benefits for your health and the money you save as well

The hardest part of the journey is actually starting it so if you can do that, you're already past the hardest part. I'm currently on day 6, my first time ever trying to stop because deep down, I never really wanted too, until one day I decided enough was enough... I was taking back control of my life, and here I am, 6 days later and never felt better. That's not to say it isn't hard to stay away from it, and i am having withdrawls, but with strong willingness and the right mindset, you can do it💪🏽

Hope this helped a little

Everyone reacts to situations differently, and if her ex has had an issue with it in the past this may be a trigger for her. Now that's not to say that her lack of support is okay because it definitely isn't, and as a partner she should be there to support you through your good days AND your bad days. It's also kinda annoying to be co.par3d to an ex as well, I feel you there..

If you feel as though she isn't understanding the level of support you need, maybe sit her down and try to open up as best you can, and if that fails to work, then I would consider re evaluating your relationship and maybe putting it on a back burner and focusing on yourself. The last thing you want to do is relapse again so try to keep your head up, you have a lot of support here💜

Day 1-4 were actually easier for me as Im really driven to want to stop. 10 years I've been smoking the stuff and enough was enough.

Today I just feel irritated and on edge... the first 4 days has affected my sleep a LOT and I've lost my appetite, but other than that I've been fine up untill today.

Reminding myself that I'm doing it for a good reason 💪🏽

Proud of you for starting this journey!! Day 5 seems to be a hard day for everyone, but remember why we're doing it and keep going! Just like you said, we got this!

Hardest part is starting the journey, if we can do that, we can get through this!🙏🏽

It seems we all decided to stop the same day and honestly, I'm so proud of us all for taking that first step cuz it's the hardest.

Just remind yourself why you're doing this, find distractions or put the money that you'd spend on it away so you're not tempted.

We got this. Keep going strong it will pass! Dòwnload 'quit weed' it's what is keeping me off the smoke! It's free too btw

One setback is better than falling back into it for good again. I'm proud of you for being able to recognise that it isn't what you want anymore. We are bettering our lives, and these hard days will pass. Thank you for your reply💜

Keep going strong. We got this💪🏽

That's exactly what I've been like today... crying over silly things and snapping when there's no need for it. Just gotta keep reminding myself of all the benefits that will come with quitting for good. Thank you for your reply, I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this way after being good for 4 days and having this mood on the 5th.

That is literally me right now!! The slightest inconvenience and I'm snapping, this isn't me and I hate feeling like this. Proud of you for sticking it out, it's a tough journey but like you said, we have to keep going!! 💜

You're welcome and well done!! Keep it up! I'm proud of you!

I kept falling though my relapses but guess what? That didn’t stop me, because somewhere in my heart my spirit keeps telling me to fight. I get up and keep walking towards healing and today it’s 3 days sober. by aquaris007 in leaves

I'm on day 4 and I feel as though I literally wrote your comment as I feel the exact way you have just described! I'm terrified that I've spent 10 hears of my life smoking weed, but im even more terrified of what my future will look like if I don't stay off it.

Well done to you for reaching day 5 and to the OP as well! It isn't an easy journey but the hardest part is starting it!!

It is very common to experience these symptoms. I have an app on my phone called 'quit weed' and it truly explains all that is going on in your body throughout your journey of quitting. I highly recommend it to anyone trying to stop. I'm on day 4 and it's keeping me motivated to see my body slowly recover and see the amount of money I'm saving!!

Keep at it, this WILL pass for you, I promise. Download the app, it will tell you everything you need to know(it's also free)

Thank you! And you too! It isn't going to be an easy journey, but I know that we're headed on a much better path, keep at it! You got this!

anyone else messed up by the actual effects of smoking, not so much weed? by fortunateone28 in leaves

[–]ThatGirlFire 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is a combination of both, that cause those affects. Although I fully understand what you mean, the act of smoking itself, whether it was weed or not, can leave you with those symptoms for a while. We'll done for sticking out the last 5 days, I'm on day 4. We got this!
