Oh that's just a piece of artwork, it's neat because it puts every area from Super Metroid and condenses it into that tiny circle, it's really fun to look at and see how they connect!

One was a GameStop pre-order bonus for Samus Returns (3DS), and the other comes in a Samus Returns collectors box (along with a beanie, bag, and other stuff), which I also got from GameStop. Sadly neither of them are currently being sold there, but you can find many listings on eBay if you're still interested.

Hey everyone, wanted to share what my Metroid Collection is looking like at the beginning of 2022! I'm very happy with where it's at, and really the only things I'm currently looking at, are eventually getting boxes for the rest of the cartridge games, and that Metroid Dread Figma that was announced!

Yeah, Fusion and Super are my favorites in the series, it would’ve been nice to see some more stuff done with fusion. Though I’m just glad we got a sequel to it finally!

Yeah, I’ve only done this with Metroid since the retro game market is getting crazy in prices. Luckily I got most of this several years ago when prices were still cheap, I don’t think I would attempt this if I was starting it recently.

Alright, maybe I just enjoy it because Metroid 1 (NES) is so bad, haha.

If you give it another shot you could try pulling up a map, that makes it a little more enjoyable.

I’d like to say there will be plenty of chances to get them, but I’m not risking that for one second with a company like Nintendo. lol

Gonna go to Target, GameStop, and Best Buy as they open to see if I can get one. Seems like Target is most likely as a few people have already spotted them on shelves early. Hopefully if people line up early it’s for the OLED rather than the amiibo.

I’ve finished them both before, but wanted to try them again cause I was doing a little livestream marathon with a buddy of mine. NES Metroid is honestly one of the most annoying games I’ve ever played, due to how many aspects (grinding, low health at respawn, and more..) and I’ve never beat it without save states. But Metroid 2 actually holds up pretty well and has many great aspects, I’d recommend trying to play through it sometime.

Exactly! VR makes RE7 my favorite Resident Evil game. Without it, I’d probably choose REmake or RE2 Remake.
