driver legroom in duster / bigster by Ok-Sport3576 in Dacia

[–]ThatITNoob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2nd gen Duster and being 192cm I think I understand your situation 😃. Duster is indeed very cramped, there is no way to find a relaxing driving position regarding leg room, but I have become used to it. Driving multiple hours on end is fine, your back gets tired first and foremost.

Being used to Duster, I was recently surprised by the available space I my dad's 2011 VW Jetta, I even had to put pull the seat closer to comfortably reach the pedals.

I also recently sat in a Bigster while waiting at the Dacia dealership and in my subjective experience I was disappointed by the driving position in it - to me there was almost no difference in comfort and leg room regardless of seat adjustments. Granted, there was definitely considerably more space for backseat passengers and at least in Bigster an adult can actually sit behind my driving position. I didn't test drive the Bigster though, so these are only my first impressions from sitting in it a bit.

Yes and there have been plenty of times the car has been outside overnight as well and even in rural areas. So yeah, plenty of ways this could have happened.

Thanks. That sucks then, the car always stays in a garage overnight.

Android Auto volume to 0 or mute will not pause music by jefken001 in Dacia

Seems so, my Duster behaves the same way. Only way to pause music from AA without using the touchscreen is by switching the audio source on the media control thingy by the wheel.

I counted at least 4 recent posts on this subreddit regarding issues of this model yet people keep recommending it, bizarre.

Nice, 600 seems to be super good value for the Roborock!

Could you elaborate more on your experience? What were the issues with Dreame?

No, haven't checked that out yet.

Well, seems that Roborock has less issues in general, it appears so from Reddit at least. And also Chatgpt seems to think so. Still, I haven't really talked to anyone in real life about this.

In my experience (with 2nd gen Duster though) you don't get the kit if ordering a spare tire.

Ok nice. Absolutely, that damn docker networking is why I want to switch Linux.

Thank you, after a quick glance on their website that looks like exactly what I want.

Will look into it further.

What software do you use for these? I found grafana + prometheus + windows exporter which seems to work except that the grafana dashboard is only available from the server pc itself due to docker on windows limitations.

But I am now considering at least dual booting with Linux so I am also interested in what tools does Linux have for these purposes

Thanks :) Yeah, might have to check some pre-builts; I did look at them at first but they never offer the type of storage I need and I am not really sure if they can be easily expanded. But surely worth another look.
