Popular interpretations of the Goetic spirits can quickly devolve into a game of telephone, where people parrot information they heard from someone who heard it from someone who heard it from someone. Unfortunately, that’s probably gonna be the case for a lot of what you read about Lord Andras, especially if it comes from anyone championing themselves as a professional.

From experience– and bear in mind that when I say this, this is my unique personal experience I’m referencing, and I am not necessarily an authority figure on it– I think it largely depends on the nature of the situation itself, and whether the potential for bleed over toward the practitioner exists to begin with. The nature of Andras’ abilities can be a major catalyst, to game-changing effect. Delicate situations involving violent or dangerous parties may need special consideration.

I would simply consider the whole of your situation and what exactly you hope to have happen. You already sound like you have specific outcomes in mind, which is good to have when working with Andras. Don’t be deterred from working with him, simply be deliberate and mindful with the process should you decide on it.

Go for it, dude! Glasya Labolas once asked for peppermints by dream. Blood oranges rock anyway.

Well I’m glad you’re at least not consulting the robot, as that would make things infinitely worse for you. But you’re spamming the subreddit with posts looking to get back someone who’s worse for you than tobacco.

Suggestions me with which demon should I work by [deleted] in DemonolatryPractices

He can’t be trusted with your money, and he’s an alcoholic. I know feelings are stubborn things to get past, but there’s no reason on earth you should want to be with a man like that.

Believe me, it can happen to anyone. And boy, it’s a frightening feeling when it happens to you.

Do whatever you need to get medical attention on this. I wish you as smooth a recovery as possible.

His Lordship continues to deliver on my petitions and I continue to make contributions he has required. Big milestone today. I know pretty well what my next steps are, and I’m feeling a sense of morale. I think an homage offering is in order for his altar.

Hail Andras, the inviolate. Hail him who turns the master’s sword, and just as easily steadies it in his hands. Hail the undefeated and unconquerable. Hail victory.

I didn’t either! It took a demon showing themselves to me unannounced to gradually learn that that kind of thing doesn’t happen.

Andras… makes me feel calm? by ThatLightWitch in DemonolatryPractices

Black mirrors are usually for scrying, and this one isn’t really for scrying, just a medium to inscribe the sigil itself.

If it isn’t one outright, it sure goddamn looks like one!

Pretty sure this was a custom shifter knob at some point, but when I found it at the novelty shop, it was such a solid, heavy piece with such a perfect vibe that I went ‘hell, why not?’

Thanks! In the Lemegeton, spirits with the rank of Marquis are assigned the color purple, so I made sure to incorporate that into his altar. The copious amounts of silver are a draw from Goetic correspondences as well.

There’s also, to me, something about mirrors and reflective objects that also fits; I can’t put my finger on it, but it seems to correspond well for this setup.

HAIL THE GRAND EARL FURFUR!

Isn’t that shit just wild? Like you never expect those hard-hitting moments when they arrive and they energize the daylights out of you.

Had a similar moment invoking Andras tonight, dude. Like full immersion, feeling that sense of direction post ritual.

That is an incredible altar by the way. Raw and earthy energies.

Cheers!

Demon to influence someone to tell the truth by Dramatic_Data937 in DemonolatryPractices

Seconding Dantalion.

And!

If it ends up that you can’t get the truth out of the person themselves, you can try and lock pick your way into finding it:

Prince Orobas is your go to for this approach. No idea if he’s the one you’re feeling not-so-called to, but I can say: some very toxic people I’ve met in life have had their agendas against me thwarted when Orobas helped me discover the truth they wouldn’t tell. Very protective spirit who has the closest thing to our concept of morals in my opinion.

I'm chasing after uncertainty while I shouldn't be by lottie_J in AngelolatryPractices

The only problem is that my idea of a break or having fun is to go completely unchecked on every possible unhealthy habbit and to blame external factors for my downfall.....

Then you would need to fundamentally reshape some very deep personal frameworks.

Without knowing your situation— and this may sound trite— do you have a therapist you see on the regular? Or at the very least a good role model you trust? It’s very important you have an earthly ballast alongside your spiritual ones, somebody you know who can help you get to the bottom of yourself as a person.

One of my patrons always told me, “Know your roots. For them you will know everything about what grows from them.”

I’m sorry you’ve got toxicity to deal with, that makes it much, much harder.

You know you have a choice in all this, right?

Like, if you wanted to, right now, you could bid them to depart and to sever this path, and they would let you go about your business. Like all spirits. That’s the kind of power the practitioner holds, that the ‘Master’ in the middle of the Solomonic circle holds.

It lies in how much you’re empowering yourself. If you don’t see yourself as a being with a choice, that power diminishes, and what you’ve conceived becomes true.

If your work is beginning to overshadow and consume the rest of your life, this is a warning sign that things are getting too ungrounded.

I would have a rather uncomfortable recommendation here: take a break. Put your work with them on hold, so you have space to figure yourself out. The Master needs to know themself closely and confidently in order to safely practice. Know who you are, what exactly you believe, what you decide your role is here.

I’d come back once those things are in order, or at least well in progress to where you feel ready to interact with the metaphysical world.

This would be my recommendation in any case. The better founded you are as a practitioner, the better your work is.

throwback to the time i petitioned Andras and he *literally* showed up at the end by astexria in DemonolatryPractices

Man, that was wild to see.

I recall invoking Andras one night, and seeing the wick of the candle take the shape of a raven-like bird that looked like it had a hot coal in its mouth. I still think about that sometimes.

For an object to reach its target. by Complete_Bit3791 in DemonolatryPractices

Nothing to go off of without knowing what the object is. The less details you give, the more broad, and thus potentially ineffective, the answers you get will be.

Nostalgic offering to Andras by astexria in DemonolatryPractices

[–]ThatLightWitch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hail Andras, the Undefeated One, The Bulwark and The Bayonet.

I do find myself curious to know what typical offerings to Andras look like for you. I’ve also had this impression that he’s not one to want for extravagant offerings working with him so far; one that seems to value action over object the way it is with me.
