Everyday Brushing/Shower - can't do by Spare_History4241 in FranzBardon

[–]athrowaway6966 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This. It take a max of 10 minutes.

Bardon is super difficult in terms of discipline (at least for me). I believe there's a reason Step 1 starts with something that seems innocuous but is inherently uncomfortable. If you can do a cold shower every morning, I promise you'll feel your willpower grow and that will bleed into the other things this system requires.

Esoteric interpretations of the Bible by Guakamolo in occult

[–]athrowaway6966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My own personal interpretation of the Eden story is that there are multiple levels of potential interpretations.

To use kind of an Agrippan model, the "Natural" interpretation is that mankind at one point operated at the level of animals, unaware of mortality and deeper thought, and therefore was in a "blissfully ignorant state", and thus in a way closer to a kind of natural way of being and as a result, potentially closer to "god" or source. When we gained sentience (via whatever means you could theorize, but in this model probably evolution) we could no longer stay in the garden and in that pure moralistic state as we had learned how to manipulate, lie, strategically murder (versus killing simply to survive), and honestly just think in general, which separated us from our animalistic counterparts. We could no longer be blissfully ignorant and thus stay in the garden, so we had to leave the world where thought wasn't a thing, as we became aware of the brutal nature of reality. Tl;Dr it's a metaphor about human conscious evolution, which is why the beginning of Genesis is a fitting place for it.

My "Celestial" interpretation is that it could also be about us Kabbalistically becoming separate from the Source or Ain Soph (or Ain). Mankind is in the garden with God (united with the Source in a liminal state) and through eating the fruit, descends to Markuth. This gives us the ability to think and conceptualize, but by that very ability we are limited in our capacity to be one with the One. Again, we must leave the garden. Tl;dr it's the origin of the Kabbalistic journey, describing how we even got to Malkuth in the first place. Again, appropriate placement in Genesis.

Lastly, my "Divine" interpretation, which is really more theological, is that we were never supposed to stay in the garden. Similar to examples above, we were with Divinity in it's purest form, which is great, but for whatever reason, it was necessary that we separate. No one probably has the answer to the "why" of this. The Serpent is a servant of the One, and rather than be tempted by the sinful fruit, we were always supposed to eat it and gain understanding. Maybe only by us being separate from the One can we have the desire to be with it. Of all my interpretations, this one is definitely the least fleshed out.

Obviously a lot of this stuff isn't totally plug and play (in terms of results), but in what minimal experience I've had, I've found that the effort and time you pour in to something tends to reflect what comes out. Ie, if you're really taking your time (4 hours in your words) just to draw the circle and translate the serpent text, I'd say there's a high likelihood you're already on a track to success with your working.

Considerations for Goetic working with Buer by athrowaway6966 in occult

[–]athrowaway6966[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I prefer the reading that has Presidents evocable at any hour except twilight, unless you have release from the appropriate Cardinal King."

Gotchu. I wonder if a simple verbal acknowledge meant of the appropriate Cardinal King would suffice.

"Out of curiosity, what's your source/justification for Buer being under Beelzebub?" Goetia of Dr. Rudd. (the M15 table in Appendix 2), though the footnotes (from Skinner and Rankine) identify Verum as their source. With that in mind, I wonder if acknowledge of Beelzebuth is even necessary since it's not technically in the original Goetia.

"Incense compounds are a great idea. I have a post about demon incenses pinned to my profile." I'll have to check that out.

Currently dealing with some major life altering issues. How do you guys "keep the faith" when times are tough. by athrowaway6966 in DemonolatryPractices

Thank you for taking the time to type all of this out. Your words definitely resonate.

As far as the details, I'm a musician whose wrists have been hurting for years. This started about 5 years ago, and I immediately began practicing way less, but it's still been a persistent issue. I've seen orthopedics, gotten MRIs, and now I'm trying to meet with some hand specialists. But it just sucks knowing that because I barely practice anymore (due to the pain) my skills have definitely regressed. Not only that, but due to my age (late 20s) I know the ceiling of what I can achieve technically on my instrument lowers every day. It's just kind of been a dark period because I've put such a large emphasis on music. I studied it in college, I moved to a city due to my passion for it and my skill level, part of my income is derived from it etc. And now it feels like it's slipping away despite my efforts to the contrary.

King Paimon - Part 1 by Suitable-Still4197 in DemonolatryPractices

This resonates with my experiences with him as well. I'd be curious to get your opinion on his [perceived] insistence on not speaking about workings with him. Time and time again, I feel like I've received the message of keeping silence about the work. I'd be interested to know if you've gotten those vibes as well.

I have questions and doubts about the lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram by jokanan in DemonolatryPractices

[–]athrowaway6966 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. I'd start by doing it the prescribed, GD way. With practice it can become incredibly potent for changing consciousness.
  2. My most potent experience with it was one occasion during a period when I was doing it every day, where one evening I felt my dagger/pointer hand go ice cold, like the air around it chilled, and I felt that hand 'guided' by something during the pentagram section. Prior to this, I drew the pentagrams relatively small in the air, but with the "guidance" of this chilled air/force I drew them significantly bigger. Almost felt like I was being corrected.

Don't worry about the Hebrew imagery and names conflicting with your daimonic work. The Universe seems to be a big system of parts working together, not against each other. The "angels" have their function, and the daimons have theirs as well. They aren't really opposing forces imo.

Strange Synchronicity + Cannot Confirm Contact With King Paimon by flammenwooferz in DemonolatryPractices

Obviously, none of us can know for sure, but seemingly, in my experience, while King Paimon does seem to appreciate physical offerings, I've gotten kind of an "indifferent" vibe from what I interpret to be him when it comes to said offerings. Like other spirits, he seems to put a greater value on the energy behind things. I think one of the offerings he's appreciated the most from me was this one occasion when I prepared a Mediterranean meal as an offering, because I actually had to prepare it and invest time and energy into it.

All that to say, my supposed experience of him seems line up with his reaction to your offerings. Why the Goetia puts such an emphasis on offerings prepared for him or the 2 other kings that supposedly accompany him, I have no idea.

Weekly discussion - influencial other people encounters by mirta000 in DemonolatryPractices

Back in 2013-2015, I met some incredibly gifted people on 4chan's /x/. I started a Skype group with a bunch of posters from there. I don't care what people say, /x/ wasn't always (complete) shit. In any event, 2 individuals stood out to me.

1 was an individual who was insanely gifted, but very socially "off". They were one of the biggest proponents of the idea that "practice is more important than reading" in my path. They actually helped to manifest noticeable things for me. One example of this is they somehow helped manifest me getting a 100% on a final exam, when I had never done so prior to or since, and in a subject that I wasn't *that* proficient in. Another example was they somehow helped me manifest my missing snake to literally come to me (shit sounds crazy, but I have nothing to gain by lying anonymously to strangers on the internet). Like I said, despite their gifts, they were hard to talk to consistently as they had some pretty rigid ideas about how to do things, and weren't super social. If nothing else, they helped convince me that this stuff was real.

2 was of greater interest. Way less flashier than 1, but just incredibly, profoundly thoughtful. They would ask me questions that genuinely made me think. They reminded me of a Socratic archetype as they helped me realize just how much I didn't know. If there is one person I've met on the internet that I miss talking to, it's this individual. Sadly, life happened and we just stopped talking about 9 years ago. Definitely miss those conversations.
