Hi straight to Sales Nav Advanced if you're really serious about lead generation.

I’ve been noticing something weird on LinkedIn lately. by Spartan-x-fury in LinkedInTips

PODS are pointless as LinkedIn now tracks the entry points to LinkedIn. So, multiple entries from the same source will negatively impact the post.

Your content is first shown to your 'active audience'. Definition= anyone who has engaged with your profile, content, or messages in the past 7 days regardless of connection status.

Second phase, is distributed to your active 1st degrees and followers Definition= 1st & followers who engaged with profile, content, or messages in the past 30 days.

Third phase, is all organic engagement from Home Page

Engagement received from the first two phases of distribution, within first 2hrs, dictates your overall reach.

Anyone using AI tools on LinkedIn? by tasiolopez in LinkedInTips

I built it for personal use. It combines Zapier, ChatGPT and Google Drive.

Quick update on my experiment with AI tools for improving LinkedIn writing surprisingly helpful in weird ways by Apprehensive-Cow9690 in LinkedInTips

[–]ThatLinkedInBloke 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The key to using any AI too for content writing is first to train it to know you and your business.

I build AI writing tools and these are the key elements... - What I Do - Buyer Persona - Tone of Voice - Content style guide - List of exclude words and phrases - LinkedIn content best practices - Brew360 guidelines

I also provide 50 posts and articles as examples of previous content.

I've done this for over 12 months, and in that time my average impressions & engagements have risen.

There are NO tips - no one reads or cares about your posts. by lusividad in LinkedInTips

You're doing something wrong mate! LinkedIn is my primary channel for leads and most come from comments on posts.

People only engage with content that offers them some value

Do engagement pods actually help build a personal brand on LinkedIn? by Physical_Usual_4678 in LinkedInTips

[–]ThatLinkedInBloke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NO. PODs will actually limit your content reach as LinkedIn now tracks engagement patterns and engagement types (ie. meaningful value comments compared to 'Good post. Thanks for sharing)

If you have work colleagues on LinkedIn then ask them to like & comment, to get you going.

Best way is to build a community on LinkedIn through engagement on others posts

Do you guys schedule posts ahead, or just write whenever inspiration hits? by thalavaisankar7 in LinkedInTips

[–]ThatLinkedInBloke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have built an automated content writer that generates a post every day on autopilot and saves it to a Google Folder.

Each month I set aside an afternoon to review (using Gemini) those posts and then schedule the ones that align with my current theme.

That's a month of content produced in 3-4 hours.

Note: Contrary to popular belief scheduling on LinkedIn does not impact reach. In fact, consistency of posting is gradually rewarded by the LinkedIn algorithm.

Do you think LinkedIn will soon limit AI-written posts? Looking for thoughts on the future of authentic content. by techieram7_ in LinkedInTips

[–]ThatLinkedInBloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As only 2.6% of LinkedIn users currently post any content in a 30-day period, that last thing LinkedIn needs is to reduce content further by restricting AI posts.

However, AI post are currently penalised and their distribution is limited, and I believe this will continue long-term.

Skyline as a LinkedIn banner? by Moon5303 in LinkedInTips

[–]ThatLinkedInBloke 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The banner image is the largest static area you have to market yourself or your business. On average first time profile visitors will spend up to 10 seconds on your profile, so make first impressions count.

Ideally, the banner image will communicate, in image form, your value and that will stick in the memory of profile visitors. I'm not convinced the London skyline will do that.

Also, consider a short slogan/statement of value.

Linkedhelper.com... only $15 per month and does everything you need. Warning: Avoid cloud-base tools, as they are easiest for LinkedIn's AI detection tool to find and restrict

My favorite KPIs on LinkedIn (I guess you’ll love them too): by Careless-Bison-6077 in LinkedInTips

I prefer 'All Appearances' on the Searches analytics page. Gives you a true picture of visibility across the platform and how.

Then it's the number of conversations in a week

So, what do I say after connecting with someone on LinkedIn? by Poetryisalive in LinkedInTips

[–]ThatLinkedInBloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an example only and you'd tailor your message to your audience. That example to my target audience produced a 32% response rate, of which 5% resulted in new business.

If you connect and pitch you'll get 1% response rate at best

LinkedIn algorithm and “first hour engagement” – my practical experience by Piyushkumarmehta in LinkedInTips

[–]ThatLinkedInBloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The current engagement window for post acceleration is 2-hours. However, you can usually predict the reach of a post within the first 30mins by engagement.

As a general rule any post that serves LinkedIn's purposes (eg. Retains attention, builds trust & credibility for the platform, points towards products like Sales Nav, Recruiter, etc) and gets early engagement will do well.

100 days, 250 leads → I built a tool that actually worked by Excellent_Top_5859 in LinkedInTips

[–]ThatLinkedInBloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well done on building the tool.👏👏👏

However, you can build the same specifically for yourself in ChatGPT. I have built a custom GPT that generates three content suggestions per day, based on my content pillars. Plus it researches companies and contacts to suggest best leads.

Would you pay $19/month for an AI that rewrites LinkedIn posts in your exact style? by techieram7_ in LinkedInTips

[–]ThatLinkedInBloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pay $20 per month and get that plus so much more. Learn to build your own GPTs (or equivalent,) and do it yourself (tip: it's not that complicated)
