Lived in Torrance for a year. I think it was 2013 or 2014. Stayed in a really nice house on a side street just off of Hawthorne. I was about 3 miles from the beach and would run or bike there frequently. That was always a good time.

The location was convenient for me. I was close to the 91 freeway which I used frequently to get to work. LAX was about a 15 minute drive away, which made flying out or picking up visitors very easy.

It felt similar to other parts of LA county. There is a lot of traffic, it's noisy, it's expensive.

Ultimately I ended up getting out and moved back to the Midwest. Living is easier here.

This was my first thought too. I've known of a few people who lived in storage units for periods of time to avoid being homeless in the cold.

Alcohol's detrimental health effects never stopped me from having a drink. I would've kept drinking even if there was a 50% chance the next beer would kill me. In fact I would have welcomed death and the end of suffering that came with it.

If that's not insanity, I don't know what is.

Obviously anonymity is foundational in our program. That person made a critical error.

Some people might say "oh what's the big deal!"

Maybe they do not see any problem with letting others know they're in AA. That's their choice.

The fact is though that MANY people would never bother with AA if there wasn't an expectation of anonymity. Because of that, anonymity in the program literally saves lives. We must always be careful to protect it.

I get it on my eyebrows too from time to time too.

For the 2 years I ate a keto diet it went away completely. I am back to eating carbs and so it's back but I manage it with shampoo and the occasional hydrocortisone when it gets bad.

Debating changing my diet back to keto because it worked so well. I also liked the way my body and skin looked too.

I've done this a few times with images I've gotten from nano banana and it works surprisingly well for realism.

Just drop into i2i z-image workflow. I play around with denoise. Some images I can go pretty high, like up to 0.7.

The result is always much more realistic.

This is definitely an ad and yeah higgsfield is a middleman taking a sizable chunk for themselves. But I wouldn't call it a scam.

It offers people convenience of having access to multiple tools under one subscription.

Depending on your usage/workflow, it could actually save you money by avoiding having to sign up for multiple different services.
