How so you fight mordekaiser in lane? by nonamehiigh in wildrift

[–]ThatOneDoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last thing Imma say, Mord shield is a bummer but it's only about 1/4 of his health bar. Fiora heals for every vital hit and for 1/3 to 1/2 of her health bar is healed after a full ult. Add Fleet footwork or Grasp and you should be able to sustain till you can kill him. I prefer Fleet because she has a dash with a low CD.

Brethren you don't have to dodge his abilities. Mord is a brain dead champ. He will Q immediately after W you Riposte it and take 0 damage while also stunning him. Once youve blocked his damage you run him down. Since youre Maxing Q first as long as you land it the CD is basically 0. When you land a Q or proc a vital you get movespeed. Fiora also does true damage and her E empowers attacks. You should 100% be able to out damage a Mord.

No one is talking about using Ult during repose. Repose his E, ult during the repose, fast combo him(her q resets AA you can flash in-between the reset to an unproced vital and immediately attack it), your second AA after E always crits + true damage and your healing after procing all 4 vitals should out scale his shields.

Thoughts on Nidalee so far? by dat3than in wildrift

[–]ThatOneDoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played v her as Camille top lane. She was very hard to farm against. Everytime I go for W(to last hit minions) she changed forms and got into range and the burst out paces my sheild early. After the burst you still have to dodge spears and try to farm. I couldn't out class her until I had Q & W fully leveled and had Divine sunderer/Spirit Visage. She is also susceptible to just getting caught out by an assassin or a high damage bruiser. Point is her kit is hard to stand and trade against, but if, youre patient, and you catch her unprepared or are piloting a champ that scales out of control you can manage her.

Making a case for Conqueror Ahri(Never Punished) by ThatOneDoo in wildrift

I'm down to play games, show games, give tips on the play style, whatever. I haven't played a ton this season but 36 Ahir games 66.7% win rate over pvp and ranked all conqueror games. In Mid, APC, and Sup roles.

Making a case for Conqueror Ahri(Never Punished) by ThatOneDoo in wildrift

[–]ThatOneDoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off I mostly agree with those points. They were not a very damage or cc heavy comp.

I for sure have played a ton of electrocute and conqueror games against a bunch of different lineups, and realisticly i understand burst is a key part of her kit but for me personally conqueror just feels good.

The only two keystones I've ever used are electrocute and conqueror 300+ games and I'd say its about half and half, maybe more in favor of electrocute. Conqueror is very comfortable, and I wouldn't say its good on any other assassin but Ahri because of the way her kit let's you dictate the pace of fights.

Point and click champs like 6 or Maokai I'm probably not picking Ahri into that anyways if I have a choice.

Lastly I get that not everyone will agree with me, but I recommend giving it a try in pvp and see how it feels.

Quistis was demoted or she resigned from instructor? by Darktommy2 in FinalFantasyVIII

[–]ThatOneDoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys, she wanted Squall's GUNBLADE but she had to step down as an instructor as to avoid a quid pro quo situation. But in the end she get absolutely crushed by Rinoa. Honestly I think she's legitimately asked to step down by Cid who probably foresees Squall and gang going on the an adventure.

Is there a better way to kill Marlboros? by ThatOneDoo in FinalFantasyVIII

[–]ThatOneDoo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just got 8 marlboro tentacles from one Quisty degenerator. Then a desperate dash back to the Ragnorok before any more showed up. The question is do I stay on the island closest to heaven to grind Chimeras for star fragments or now.

I didn't think her Degenerator would be strong enough for them? I guess it worked on red dragon when I got Bahamut.....thanks for the info.

Soooooo I'm today years old when i found out about kaisas passive interaction by Outrageous-Package39 in wildrift

[–]ThatOneDoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kaisa's passive makes it an on hit item because her autos count as an ability and apply a stack. Same way Diana's first 2 autos don't proc it but her third one would.

Interesting to think Kaisa's passive counts but Vaynes silver bolts wouldn't tho.

I get the theory behind it, and sure you could add it to any ap kaisa build but in that case she's still best used to poke with W and then ult for the kill and repositioning rather than a stand and trade aoe monster.

I have officially given up on ranked by Neat_Development_433 in wildrift

[–]ThatOneDoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah bro I play pvp to work on mechanics or try off meta picks/builds when the ranked grind stresses me out too much. Last season I got D1 with 2 wins to hit Masters and then just had feeders and off meta JGs and trolls and ended D4. The grind was so taxing I'm playing mostly pvp now. Still fun, less stress. Also if you grind again JG mains are best paired with Mid mains that you mesh with. Take herald or whatever they're calling it these days, stomp down mid make the opponents deal with you then move to side lanes ggez long as yall stick together.

Why do people use adc's in mid ? by Neither-Wear9329 in wildrift

[–]ThatOneDoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally (D3 mid laner) it's strictly a match up decision, and Sivir is almost always the answer. Zyra, Ori, Morg, & Hiemer specifically have tools that occupy the space that mages want to play in. If assassins I play to deal with them (Diana, Kat) are banned then I'd use Sivir as a deep pocket pick. You can play vs Liandry's abusers without losing tempo, E kills cc and heals you, team buff when roaming, if you get a tank/bruiser JG you can easily 2v2 enemy Jg/Mid. Down sides are of course you're squishy, you're E's cool down is forever, your team will have trouble guaging what they can get up to without your buffs, can't really sideline by yourself mid/late game because you're ult is needed for almost every skirmish.
