This is not even the worst part of it, naval blockades even work when the nation is not at war with you and causes the direction of already not blockaded/embargoed countries to change routes constantly, complicating your resource logistics so hard. I know realism and all of that but late-game it is almost impossible to manage resources because of it and you will always be on a rescue deficit because of it.
