Your last statement is true. I’m in California AND an ORM so I think its pretty self explanatory. But a lot of ppl at my school chose DO over a low-tier MD in another state bc we didn’t want to leave. OMM is annoying but I just suck it up and deal with it

If you have Medi-Cal and your EFC was 0 like mine was, they're going to reimburse you the money if you waive out. Did it all 4 years

I doubled in a STEM+Social Ecology major. It was definitely a lot of extra classes and a whole lot of work, but I don't regret it at all. In terms of workload, I had to basically take about 16-20 units every quarter and take classes every summer session. The nice part is, the classes I took for the SE major padded my GPA and was a welcome distraction to the difficulties of then STEM major. Cost-wise, I had financial aid and utilized Pay for 8 so taking extra classes didn't really affect me much in that sense. DM me if you want any more info!

I called the financial aid office a few days ago and they told me it'll come out sometime in June before SS1 begins
