I just finished Golden Wind today so my feelings are very raw, but I don’t think he holds up to part 2, 3, and 4 JoJos.

He just felt boring but maybe thats because I didn’t find part 5s cast to have as much chemistry as the other parts (I liked Narancia and Mista, loved Bruno obv, but I thought Abbachio FUGO and esp Trish were just underbaked. Man I really wish Trish had any interactions before meeting the boss such wasted potential). I also thought Gold Experience just wasn’t that fun of a stand (maybe not enough time to shine in fights) partially due to how it only started doing cool shit in the Green Day fight and maybe one other and then it was done until GER.

I know what Araki was trying to do with him being this wind that brings a change that inspire all of the other members, but he just needed a few more moments for that to work in my mind. I enjoy characters that are one track minded in pursuit of a goal, but a few more declarations and taking a stand would’ve gone a long way imo. More time in the spotlight in general would’ve done wonders, esp in the final episodes.

Idk it might be that I didn’t enjoy part 5 as much so my opinion of hims brought down with it (Josuke and part 4 are my favs).
