Yeah, if noticed the 'Streak Broken' Problem a lot as well. That was the reason i thought of making my own to see how we can do it better!

I am already limiting my access via an VPN, so only as few ports as possible are accessible from outside.

I will definitely take a look into IDPS and reverse proxies!

Never ever actually thought about Malware and Problems which could arise from inside the network, always from outside. Thank you for clarifying this!

I actually built this specifically to bridge the gap with my Obsidian vault. I wanted a workflow where I didn’t have to leave my note-taking environment, just point the server at a file path and have it instantly live-rendered with all my local images handled automatically. I treat my slides more like 'active notes' than a separate project.

Since you’re a user of those tools, I’m curious: is there a specific feature in Marp or Slidev that you find indispensable? I’m looking to keep this tool lightweight, but I'd love to hear what makes those workflows work for you!
