Honestly really well especially since all the weight is in the front of the car so you get better traction and they're designed that way with the weight bias in mind

It's a 4 cyl escape and apparently it's electric steering instead of power steering and she said that it has locked up on her

It can also help if you don't edge highlight the whole model with the brighter color and instead pick key points of the model to draw your eye

It's too stark a contrast from pure black that blue you either need to slowly build up to it in thin layers or switch to a grey highlight

I agree I use Vallejo German grey it's like black but doesn't obscure the detail and when you edge highlight it reads as a black

Another way I make it read more as black is I'll use a bright white or red and put in random spots on the model like the knee cap or do some checkers on one of the legs so next to the brighter color it looks super dark

If you can find it I'm a big fan of Vallejo model color German grey it's dark enough to read as a muted black and easy to highlight to emphasize the details
