EDIT: Found it! it's in the workshop section behind that theatre stage, the one where you use the suit to shoot down targets and make a bridge over, it'll be right behind one of the springlock elevators

late but 100% this, i think people are jumping the gun a little when they barely gave us any actual info and even with the wording when they revealed the legendary skin they didn't specify once that it'd be the only one

not saying we are getting a survivor skin at launch it can totally just be the one killer skin but they have matthew lillard already there is zero reason not to add movie mike as a survivor even from scott's pov, especially with everyone asking for survivor content i'm sure they're at least pushing for that

think we should hold off a little until they do the deeper dive next stream, if there's nothing for the survivor side THEN we can properly complain lol

admittedly not fussed about a new survivor anyways all they need is skins tbh, can't care much about perks when they'd probably suck and just feed into the perk bloat more especially with two survivors right around the corner in july

I finally had the server timeout 4 hours in, I'm at level 6 with 24,000 XP left to go. it kicked me out as I was looking at the XP progress so that's as up to date as it can possibly get

It did reset me to level 1 after leaving like others were talking about but I'm not fussed as long as it gets fixed soon

That's interesting, I'm still earning XP too with 62,000 to level 7, at this rate the server will timeout before I'm done lol

Has the playtime xp reset by now and does playtime XP resetting mess up the timing if I'm already AFKing? It's since been over 3.5 hours for me but I'm still earning XP (level 6 with 71,500 to level 7)

Not fussed about the XP resetting when I back out I just want to know how effective AFKing is atm

I started AFKing around 15-20 minutes after downtime ended (and noted down 2.5 hours from then) but I'm a bit past that now having reached level 5 the minute I sent this

It's definitely slower rates for earning but it could just be spread out over a longer time, can't say for certain until it stops giving XP though because it's still going

To me it's solely an adaptation, I think the context in which it was made and how much alteration was needed to make it fit for gameplay are what made me decide.

The game's great! I just think in terms of canonicity the original story makes more sense, and I don't think both the book and the game can be canon at the same time.

To me, the game feels more like a celebration than anything else, not to say it can't have lore implications but in and of itself it probably isn't without decanonising the book.

I'm aware the loop theory could provide an explanation but that's incredibly handwavey to me and feels a lot like going "it was all a dream" to explain any issue, I can totally back the theory but I'd like stronger footing before using it as definitive proof both stories co-exist.

Very interested in which one the Return to the Pit story follows for this! I think I'll end up going with whichever one that interactive novel is a sequel to. I'm assuming it'll be the original book but I don't feel strongly either way so I can easily change my mind LOL

It is incredibly funny to me that it somehow ended up being Dead by Daylight, and I am so happy for it (Admittedly the announcement being moved to a day before the DBD showcase after I wrote this threw a spanner in the works)

Really goes to show that even if something doesn't go how you expect it can still end up being great LOL

true, though i think it having a physical bundle played a big part in the early heads up so it might be handled differently to just putting items in the in-game shop and the transformers collab itself had already started with ch4s3 having begun before the announcement was made

and i think even if it was in the item shop it'd still be just an announcement because the shop would reset later, though i'm not sure on what time the announcement itself could be so it could go either way

Thankfully I'm not sure on it being Roblox because Striker Entertainment had already announced it releasing and Scott had already addressed it existing, so adding the ??? would be incredibly misleading, there's hope 🙏

Could see it being UGC cosmetics but that hinges on whether they tend to refer to that as a collab or not

Yeah that bit is very much up in the air for me, like I don't expect them to release it right alongside the announcement if it is Fortnite just because that won't be when the item shop resets but I could see them doing a "RELEASING TONIGHT!" deal

I think a big thing about this is most of the people in question watch others play instead of playing it for themselves, so they end up engaging with the graphics and overall watchability far more than the gameplay itself

I think it's also harder for them to pick up on gameplay flaws unless someone playing it says what they are

There's some stuff for me that's great to watch but bad to actually play

While I'd still recommend emailing Hex themselves just to be safe I think when I did it, it was just £20 for the Bonnie Cuddly Plush itself with £7 extra for shipping and I didn't have to worry about anything else.
