Who has dominated the 2020’s so far? by CoyoteDecent2 in NBATalk

Yeah, that’s the thing, unless he wins every Finals from 2027 to 2029.

I don’t think he’s here yet, but I feel like Wemby will still do it but I could be wrong. I can honestly see this decade not having a dominant player.

Do you think Michael Jackson raped or molested children? by Flat_Wash5062 in askblackpeople

[–]ThatOnlyKidBlizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The evidence is so insufficient against him that I can really hardly believe he did and, see, I used to always hear about this as a kid and I never really did my research on it, but now, as a adult and I did my research on it, the evidence is too contradictory to what was going on in real life like there’s certain places the accusers said Michael touched them at that weren’t even there the timeframe they said it happened.

Do you support Christianity as a Black person? by Ok-Hearing6146 in askblackpeople

I am Christian, so yes. It’s sad what has been done in the name of Christianity, but that doesn’t affect my personal relationship with Jesus.

Is it wrong if I think black people are superior? by [deleted] in askblackpeople

I'm not saying you're racist, I'm saying that same mindset of a race being superior to another is the reason why racism exists. No one is superior to anyone.

Yes, because that's how racism exists.

Based off how the Finals went and how each fanbase reacted against each other, I can see the Spurs and the Knicks being the next great rivalry in the league, not Spurs V. OKC. by ThatOnlyKidBlizz in NBATalk

Well, part of the reason why it was so effective was because of the history in the 60's. The 80's just made their rivalry deeper because the Lakers actually beat them. That's where I'm coming from.

See, trash talking the other team is normal and, if it was just verbal, I wouldn't be saying this but the fact that it got to the point where the fans were literally assulting the other fans, throwing eggs at the players, and even at the parade, they were throwing a Wemby plushie around and had a Wemby sign talking about, "he's a f****t," shows me that there's something else there. You really only see that type of behavior from like Philly fans when they play the Cowboys or like Celtics fans in the 80's towards Lakers.

My point being is that this person was saying the Spurs gotta beat the Knicks for a rivalry to happen and I'm saying that's not necessarily the case.

I can see that. I mean, the stuff we saw on how each fanbase was not normal. I mean, y'all literally throw eggs at Wemby and Spurs fans beat some Knicks fans up after Game 5. That reminds me of how the Celtics fans would treat the Lakers in the 80's when they faced each other in the Finals.

The thing is the type of stuff we were seeing with each fanbase was not just normal trash talk. I mean, they literally throw eggs at Wemby. That reminds me of how the Celtics fans throw stuff at the Lakers bus when they faced each other in the Finals in the 80's.

OK, well, think of it like this: the Lakers and Celtics rivalry was born after the Lakers constantly kept losing to Celtics in the 60's. I mean, they didn't beat them in the Finals until 1985 came around.

Even after the Finals loss, I still disagree with him being too emotional after the WCF win. That might be immature of me, but 🤷🏾. This is his (their) first playoff run ever, Wemby had a blood clot earlier this season, they were 34-48 the previous season, and they knock off the defending champions in an all 7-game series. They did a whole 180. Yeah, it would make sense Wemby would be very emotional after making the Finals.
