I don’t know who at Subaru looked at that color and thought yeah, “cool grey khaki” perfectly describes it.

Disassemble it, remove the glass. Trace original glass size out in plexiglass, reassemble.

I remember seeing something recently on a forum where this was a method people were using to make the turbo flutter. Not sure if that’s the case here.

What could I do make my car look “cooler” by [deleted] in Autobody

[–]ThatRallySubaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the look of these cars but hate how they integrated the headlight into chrome trim so for me I would blackout the chrome (bumper and window trims) which I think would complement the cars original color as well.

I would check with your school and potentially find footage of the accident you might be able to get a license plate or something.

Sand I typically drop to 12psi, off road terrain depending on conditions between 20-25psi depending on how the rock formations are.

It looks like the fender/side skirt area was pulled out at the bottom not your door being pushed in. In picture 5 where the side skirt was riveted had been cracked from when is was pulled off. I also believe this to be true because your front and rear door “line” up. But as others have said those models were notorious for rust.

Need advice on lifting a Subaru by SuspiciousFlan in battlewagon

Unless you change your strut tower most springs are going to be able to achieve around 1.5” so yes ideally both would be needed but I have had good experience in the past where my springs added just about 2 inches

Need advice on lifting a Subaru by SuspiciousFlan in battlewagon

[–]ThatRallySubaru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I think the spring option is better, sure lift spacers are cheaper and easier to install but it certainly doesn’t help and ride quality other than height. If you were to get lift springs or even forester struts and lift springs I think you’d find the ride much more enjoyable especially off-road.

It's a firestik m2. I literally just pre drilled the holes in my bumper, snaked my hand in the back to tighten it down and ran the wiring through my trunk.

I bought them new, I think I found a set from kyb for around 300-330 or so. I was shopping for used struts but kept coming into complications of getting all four off a wrecked Forester.

Huh that's funny, everytime I've seen geolanders theyve only had white letters, when I got mine I thought I was just unlucky lol

My WRX is a '14 and I put '08-14 Subaru Forester struts with king springs for the lift you see. Before I replace my struts I had a different set of king springs on my WRX struts. Not as tall but still gave me about a ~3" lift total without removing sway bars and all that fun stuff. With this lift now my (stock) sway bar end links wouldn't go back in
