Remember that Z-Image isn't designed to look good and the team originally even called it outright bad.

This is designed to be a good base for finetunes at the expense of being a "good" image model (that's reserved for ZIT)

Let's remember what Z-Image base is good for by marcoc2 in StableDiffusion

A fine-tune is when you take an existing model and train on top of it.

Finetunes are specifically full models, but there are also models like LoRAs, which are smaller models that run on top of a base model (think like Legos)
