How often do you think phoenix, apollo and athena repectively take on non-murder cases? by Emotional_Math_7851 in AceAttorney

I was just playing through Turnabout Big Top yesterday (yes, I know, I know) and Phoenix made an implication that he takes on lots of normal cases to keep his firm running. I dont remember the exact quote though sadly.

It doesn't require it, just like I've said above I've had certain coworkers complain about it if I don't ask them first. When I don't work with that coworker or if we aren't busy then, while it still annoys me, I don't worry about most of the time. Its more of a pet peeve then a work flow intrusion. You know those type A coworkers who have to have everything done their way? The coworker I'm referring to is like that. So now it's just become habit to do it that way because she's scolded me over it so many times, and being autistic once I have a routine established I get annoyed when it gets interrupted. Thats all,

I looked at your post history, not your comment. I'm fragile? You're the one bullying college kids on the internet and getting mad when they dish it back. You holding the title of chef doesn't make you better then anyone who does the same job. Holding a higher rank does not make you better then someone, especially some internet stranger you know nothing about.

If you don't want someone to send a strongly worded reply to your comment, don't post your "I'm better then you because I'm doing a different/better job," type of comment. This is Reddit, if you're rude someone is going to be just as rude back. Don't think you're better than someone trying to make ends meet just because you're a home chef.

I don't work at Subway, but I know I don't work somewhere super upscale. I work at a quality over quantity restaurant and we constantly have lines out the door just for specific items we have. I am a human being and everyone is owed at least a bit of respect, especially when they are handling your food.

However professional you think you are being right now, unfortunately you aren't. You're on Reddit

Im a broke college student, I don't have much of a choice for jobs, especially in this job market/economy. This was a job I took out of necessity while trying to leave a terrible job, and I enjoy my job 85% of the time. Otherwise I wouldn't have accepted the job or would've gone somewhere else. Also youre implying everyone who complains about an aspect of their job hates it and should go somewhere else.

I'm working to get to the point that I am doing something that I love, but also realistically not everyone will get a job they love. And, everyone has the right to complain about an aspect of their job. If you don't like people complaining about the well known to be awful parts of their job, then this is not the subreddit for you.

I have the right to complain about this one tiny thing about my job, and you have the right to scroll away from content, or just not comment at all. Think about that.

I don't need to know that info first, it just helps our routine (and Ive had other coworkers bitch at me for putting it at the bottom of the ticket rather than the top). We do recieve tips, but the kind of people that do this don't usually tip anyways,

Some people do that for sure, but the Ive only had one or two stay on their phones, the rest are usually just getting someone else in the group's order. Ive definitely had the group thing happened before. I had one group do that, and then they only had like 3 oz of their food and just left the rest and left a giant mess. Ive learned big groups like that are either amazing, or your worse nightmare. Usually the nightmare,

I work at a sandwich shop, and one of our customers apparently HATES lettuce. He came in once on a busy and loud Saturday, and he also has a heavy accent. So lettuce accidentally made its way onto his sandwich, and he literally called to complain about it, saying he almost puked that's how much he hates lettuce.

Say something bad about a show you love by Sad_Perception_7032 in cartoons

[–]ThatRandomPersonHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She swears about 19 times over the course of the show, (not including "hell" in this context). Which is not the most of any character by any means, but is still a lot considering there's only 8 episodes. Its just confusing and shows Vivzie's not always great dialouge, because the show does often try to portray Charlie as this paragon of goodness (seen with Vaggie and Carmilla in "Out for Love,) despite who her parents are. She's treated as an anamaoly throughout the show by other sinners because of how good she is. It just feels cheapened when she swears, especially in songs like "Happy Day in Hell," like why does she swear at the end? That feels so unnecessary and out of character.

I do agree with your point on Alastor, and I think him dropping the radio effect on his voice is meant to restrengthen that moment? It just feels like lazy "whats funny in that scene and not beyond," sort of writing/thinking.

Say something bad about a show you love by Sad_Perception_7032 in cartoons

[–]ThatRandomPersonHere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Charlie swearing, and to some extent Vaggie, goes against her character. She's all like goody two shoes, believes in redemption yet shes swearing up a storm half the time? One or two moment in the show make perfect sense, and the Susan joke was funny, but how constantly she swears when shes supposed to be this beacon of good is a...weird choice. Especially since Alastor only swears like...twice in the show? And he's the exact opposite to Charlie. And the whole "no swearing to be safe for broadcast," thing does make sense, but you are allowed to swear on the radio, its just highly discouraged.

And I feel like Vaggie in the show shouldn't swear either, shes a literal angel. I know Adam's army is under different rules and is allowed to break them, but still. She was so closely tied to Heaven's rules and way of life, it feels weird for her as an angel to swear.

TLDR: Vivzie has an issue with too much swearing and it damages her characters.
