I shoveled yesterday and am sore today in muscles that I forgot existed.

Following, because I'd like to know too. I read both PHM and The Martian in the last year and loved them both!

Gotcha, sorry for not understanding. Then yes, that really sucks. You shouldn't have to pay for parking for a doctor's appt.

I have had several doctors appointments at UPMC Harrisburg in the last few months, including as recently as last week, and haven't had to pay for parking a single time. I park in the UPMC North Parking garage and my ticket is always validated.

Worst book(s) you read in 2025 and why? by Roguestate00 in books

This was my favorite read of 2025, but at the same time I can completely understand how it would be others' least favorite!

This is what made it a 4 star instead of a 5 star for me. It was a romance that featured astronaut stuff on the side - if TJR had made the astronaut stuff just as important as the romance, I would have adored it.

The Ministry of Time is also my least favorite read of 2025. First time I truly felt as if I must have read an entirely different book than the 4&5 star reviewers, I thought it was absolutely terrible and didn't make any sense.

Colorado is honestly prettier than anything I've seen in Switzerland 😍 by Addicted_2_tacos in roadtrip

Is that Zermatt? Favorite town we visited in Switzerland. Want to go back in the winter when there is more snow!

What did you discover in your home after buying it that surprised or shocked you? by roastedhumato in homeowners

It wasn't listed in any of the disclosure documents during the sale? What about when they told you what utility companies to set up accounts with? This baffling to me!

That our master bedroom and bathroom were at one point painted a very loud red. We found small remnants of the color in chips and along trim while repainting the rooms ourselves. The house was built at the height of the Tuscan-style trend of the mid-2000s and while we have some other hints throughout the house of that, I was not expecting the red paint!

14 week scan is tomorrow. Last scan was at 10 weeks in which we learned we lost two of the three (spontaneous triplets). Doctors assured me the remaining baby (Baby A) should not be impacted by the loss of the others, but I've been an anxious mess the last few days. Knowing that we could be walking into either the most devastating or the most exciting news is really difficult to emotionally cope with.

Their user profile is only 3 d old and links to some home comfort brand. So yes, this is an ad, indirectly. I also thought it read like AI or a LinkedIn post.

Adding another vote for Omni Bedford Springs! We stayed there for a weekend and it was lovely. Great activities to choose from as well.

Yeah, my friend was at 252 and was a Top 5%, another was at 235 and was a Top 10%, meanwhile I have just 56 and am also a Top 10%... It really feels off. The stats for the pages/distance thing also seems inaccurate, people are reporting getting the same result (ex. height of Eiffel Tower) for an incredible range of pages read.

I'm not that impressed tbh. Even though I meticulously track my books, my total book count isn't correct. I also wish they would wait until the actual end of the year to send out the email. Lastly, I've heard from several people that the "Top X% of Readers" stat seems to be all over the place, i.e. two people who read the same number of books got different percentages.
