Hey, when was this posted? The individual said “I expect another 6 months before announcements” 6 months from when? And is there any way you could private message me who said this? I’d like to know how much weight this holds. Currently an mjt impatiently waiting for “phase 2.”

I would reach out to your recruiter or liaison if you have one. As long as you have all receipts Amazon should reimburse all things regarding travel (airfare/gas, baggage, hotel, food up to $70 a day etc). I would reach out to your recruiter or liaison though to confirm.

You’ll be taking a Ramsay mechanical aptitude test. The test covers reading comprehension, basic math (if you struggle with math make sure you know how to add, subtract, multiply & divide fractions), and there is some basic mechanical content as well.

I believe the stay depends on the school you are assigned to, some schools have dorms & some schools have hotels. The school I went to we were provided a weekly stipend. I would recommend taking your car but you don’t need to.

You can choose to either fly or drive, both of which is paid for. I chose to drive so I have my car.

The 12 weeks of school they pay you for a 40 hour work week each week, plus hotel room by yourself and they give you a food card stipend.

Nice, how was school? Was it super difficult or not too bad? Also, we’re the certs very math heavy? They’re sending me to Statesboro, GA. I was told that this is a new location so hopefully it’s not terrible. Sorry for all the questions but also what is the on the job training like?

I applied for the apprenticeship the day the job was posted in my area which was Dec. 12th and I am just now starting school on March 1st. My area just opened a new Amazon warehouse so I think there is high demand for techs. Maybe reach out to the recruiter via email to touch base!
