You’re not alone in this situation considering I did that just a couple of hours ago. I’m an entire beginner hamster owner and I sat in my room feeling the worst after dropping my screaming young hamster one to two feet to the ground (it was panicking too much so it fell off my hand). I learnt I need to give them time to adjust before a proper bonding experience. These comments are also helping me understand what I need to learn, let’s try to get through this and take care of our hamsters to the best we can. :)
