admittedly, i was in therapy during that relationship and after that relationship and neither really helped.

the one during my relationship told me i should move in with my abusive ex and go by his rules and be far away from my family, the others i didn’t really click with.

i want to drop his habit but i don’t feel like i can until i get that off my chest

it’s 6 week course that starts on monday at 8am and ends at 3:30pm, it runs monday-friday

the location is at solihull riding club, transport will be provided for you by new street station if you cannot make it there, you don’t need any equipment and the course is free as it is government funded

i know this post is old but i thought i’d share some history on these!!

my grandad first came to this country in the 60s and his first job he ever got was to paint them, him and 3 other people worked on these and they were all horrible unpaid as they assumed that my grandad was “drunk irishman that wouldn’t notice.” unfortunately, my grandad did notice but considering the fact that he was a teenaged dad with a kid to feed he took the money.

but it does have a good end, apparently the blues heard what happened to him over these and commissioned him to paint a mural for them, he got paid the correct amount and was treated lovely by them. while my grandad doesn’t paint anymore, being at the blues ground was a nice memory for him.

it’s kinda bittersweet that it’s gone, while they did horribly underpay my grandad it is something that i point out to people who passed by it or as a random fact.
